here's a quick rundown of a typical play session in this game:

you fight hordes of mutants
you avoid dangerous supernatual anomalies that can kill you instantly if you step in their area
you fight squads of enemy NPC's that shoot you with all kinds of guns
you carefully search radiation-filled ruins for valuble artifacts
having lots of fun so far
and then after and hour of explroing and fighting in the zone you just GET KILLED BY OTHER PLAYERS who just happened to be behind you.
your loot is stolen, all the progress you've made is GONE.

you decide to hunt that player down to reclaim you loot, you actually manage to find him and a firefight starts. you got the drop on him, you opened fire first. but guess what - he had better weapons and armor than you! so even though you had more skill you die anyway!

this kind of unfair BS will happen to you again and again and again. and the further you progress into the endgame, the worse it will be - the game soothes you into a false sense of security by placing bases of rival factions very far apart, but after you got suckered in and got into the late-game areas the rival faction bases are literally right ON TOP OF EACH OTHER.
so you will get spawn camped a lot, and your loot will be stolen from you even if you ran 1m out of base

the game rewards the most absolute toxic and kinds of griefing and players who just want to do chill PVE get shafted. stay away.

every second of this game is epic and cinematic, you really do feel like a war hero in this
there is nothing like charging with your whole army while you all scream bloody murder while explosions and gunshots fill the air and epic music is being played.
timeless classic.
game is very alive with a healthy player base, and sometimes it goes on sale for like 5$ which is a must buy

shoot demons, whack cultists, cut zombies, blow up monsters. all while listening to awsome gothic synth music and having fun talks with your friends.

never played Quake before in my life, so i have no nostalgia goggles......

Id Software were so lucky they had hyper-brain's psychic prjoection John Carmack to make such a masterpiece

the gunplay is good balanced
BUT IT'S:
overpriced
repetetive
all maps are small
no custom servers
grindy progression system for guns and attachments
♥♥♥♥♥♥ e-celeb cash grab DLC's

and on top of all that activision is woke flaming garbage for banning a streamer just because he expressed his opinion on twatter
when will this garbage corpo die already

good concept and gameplay but the execution is extremely flawed

from the randomly generated rogue lite mechanics that dont add anything, and sometimes create bad level desgin, to the poorly thought out attacks that don't work as intended.
also the game has lot of transitions that just waste time

get rid of the randomly generated BS. add properly desgined levels and this game can be fantastic

fantastic blend of puzzles exploration and combat. the artstlye seems childish at first but it the more you see of the game the more endearing and creative it becomes.
story is surprisingly solid as well.

a complete waste of time. just hold down the left mouse button for about an hour and that's it. no idea who are the idiots who gave this "game" 90% positive precentage

it's mother f'ing HALO 3, do you really need elaborations???

after all these years, the halo games are STILL ahead of their time and still offer AAA experience with amazing story, graphics and music. the singleplayer of the whole 5(!) is already worth more than the asking price. now go save humanity!
