If you're looking for something like this to play.. keep looking for now. If they plan to update and add more stuff and expand on the game, then it COULD be a decent game. But as of right now, it's not even worth $1. Don't waste your money on this until it becomes a better game. The other negative reviews basically cover all the bad things. There really isn't anything to do in the game. There's 1 quest and it's repeatable. A few class specific armors. 3 types of enemies, basically an evolution chain of a wolf. Just don't buy it bruh.

The game has great story, stunning graphics and effects. It's developed by Smilegate, and if you know them, you know they made Epic Seven, a mobile game. You'll see a ton of mobile game qualities brought over. Namely, gating progression behind a limited resource that's used in a chance based upgrading system. So to keep up or catch up to your friends you've got a few options. Spend countless days and weeks grinding dailies and weeklies just to get a chance at an upgrade that you'll likely fail if you don't throw a ton of chance increases (expensive resource, mind you) and even then you can still fail. So not only did you fail the upgrade, you don't have any more increases, and you've gotta spend more days and weeks trying to grind those materials back up. Or you can spend countless $$$ just to do the same thing but fail quicker. Progressing through core content shouldn't be gated behind a chance based system imo. Chance based system should be for bonus upgrades or optional stuff. But that's just me and my opinion of what an mmo should be.

I highly recommend this game for anyone who enjoyed Albion but wanted more of a PvE experience. It is very well designed and feels fairly smooth for being in Alpha. I ran into a few bugs where my character would get stuck and unable to move, but was still able to use the portal escape button. The other bug was an enemy got stuck on a campfire and wouldn't chase after me, so I had to walk up and beat it JoJo style. The only other thing I'd like to see in the future is optimization for better fps (I'm a 120fps snob). I maintained a 40-70 fps average at max settings with an RTX 2080ti and i9-9900k. Devs, keep up the great work!! I'm excited to see what the future holds and how the village is going to be implemented.

I've played this game on and off for some time now. I absolutely adore it and keep coming back to replay it. I highly recommend playing it casually and just going through it when you have time and enjoying the story. Every decision you make matters as you progress. Give it a shot!
