Have put in a few hours into the game with friends and playing the game with them is a blast. That is the good aspect of the game.
Now we follow up with the bad parts:
Third Person Mode is pure cancer, you get killed because someone saw you around the corner while you yourself couldn't. First Person is okay but gets its problems from its bad optimisation
Using Arma as a base is a good idea, it only fails at the point that the devs probably never ever had a gun in their hands and know anything about gunhandling.
A gun has, for example, a muzzle velocity of 760m/s you better aim a lot ahead of your target, even at 100m.
Bullets desync because you get downed is also a blast
Having you gun being pulled up because you are a tiny bit to close to the edge or even in front of a window.
And we shall not forget the wonky pick up and reload animations that get canceld for whatever reason, or you complete the animation yet the game refuses to pick up the item on the floor or reload the gun.
As well you shouldn't put any faith into the devs that they have a slightest clue how gun optics work. Way to often you are fixed on a target yet all your ammo gets dumbed into a wall or what so ever, even if our barrel is free from any obstacle.
Cars flip over invisible bumbs or rocks is great too. And be carefull, at wopping 2km/h you can down your own teammates too.
You remeber that they used Arma as a base right? Yeah thats about it.
And if you like cheaters, you will have a lot of them in the game, be it aimbot or guys spawning automatically with only lootdrop items
Another rather anoying aspect of the game are clans that group up in multiple teams to dominate a lobby together and you are unable to report such a behaviour.
And another add on to this great negativ Review: Ranked is pure cancer, way more cheaters than you find in normal and casual and you don't even have a solo queue or duo queue in ranked because it was apperantly to much for the devs to put this into the ranked game mod.
Another problem the game has is its performance issues with evey new update, at this point I am not sure who has bigger performance issuses the game or the devs
But adding none stop game passes, thats where all the devs manpower and rescources flow to.
You guys are Riot Games but with another name, good job.
So yeah, its funs with friends, but there are better options for sure

I must say I have a love/hate relationship with this game. Is this game fun? Yes! Is it frustration? Also yes!

If you play as a survivor, do yourself the favor and play with at least three friends. I have never encounterd a random that was usefull. They either troll, don't do any generators or they straight up lure the killer to you so yeah never play alone unless your tolerance to frustration is exeptionally high. Despite that I enjoy playing survivor with my friends. It is fun and it can be frustrating but if you know your friends can escape because you distracted the killer it is a great feeling.
As a killer it is in my opinion a nice feel to chase down the survivors and in contrats to playing to survivors it is you and only you that is responsible for succsess or failiure. Yes you will encounter bully sqauds and they are a pain to play against. Yes if you kill them all the satisfaction is enourmus.

What I despise however is the patch implemetation. The developers most likely will screw something up (looking at the Alien nerfs - thank you "whiney survivor community" and ...... your meta.
It is more likely that the devs will screw something up with a patch, rather than fixing anything. Yet again they are very passionate over their game and I like that.

Will I keep playing this game? Yes!
As a survivor? Only with friends
As a killer? Yes, bit please stop listening to a whining minority of gamers.

With the current patch I unfortunately have to say that I cannot recommend buying it anymore. With Patch 7.2.2 the Killer has become extremely nefed. Everytime you hit or miss with both the base attacks or the tail attack you become literally an unmovebal brick. Something that does not fit at all the Xenomorph.
It seems that the developer listend to the rather whiny Survivor Community saying that the Xenomorph is totally unbalanced despite having a kit that is close to Nemesis, who btw has the same Base Speed and a longer reqaching tentecal who suprisingly didn't got nerfed to the ground.
So, as much as it pains me to write this, stay away from this DLC

The game is good until you reach the point where you cross from WW2 tanks into cold war tanks. You fight way to often with WW2 tanks against tanks that are superior in every way. This alongside the grind which becomes way to much and the fact that you need a premium account to even manage to have a positive balance at the end of the game ruind it for me.

Update: I thought I give the game another chance. It is still the same frustrating experince. You have constant base camper, since all guns are quite accurate, very little teamplay, barely any objective orientated gameplay. If you dare to push you are on your own. The grind is still horrible. So all in all, still the same bad game as last time

Update on my last review of the MP of CoDWWII:

After 1 month the game a has stil made very little progress. At this moment following things are brocken:

- spawn point still do not work, you get trapped with the enemy litteraly next to you and the spawn point do not swap, even after one month this still happens.
- banning cheaters seems to much of an effort and the numbers are increasing.
- gun balancing is still completely off. All they have done is to change the sound of a few weapons and add new ones.
-the map design is plain and simply bad, with some exceptions but as most of them are its a simple run towards the enemy spawn and trap them inside.
-the latest patch which was btw 12.3 GB large has only added new uniforms, a new gun for each division and a version of Carentean in winter. Otherwise the patch has increased the loading time of the maps drasticaly and the overall server performance has dropped.

It is unbelievable that Sledgehammer Games is still not capable of fixing their own game.

At the moment I cannot recommend the latest CoD game.
The following is only about the MP:
- bad weapon balancing
- map desgin is horrible
- constant spawncamping
- supply drops

+ the idea with different "classes" is nice and something new

One of the best Star Wars FPS.

Pros
+ great character design
+ different types of enemies which needs individual tactics
+ great locations
+ easy command system
+ nice bridge between episode 2 and 3
+ great soundtrack
+ still pretty to look at even though made in 2005

Cons
- sometimes teammates get stuck
- sometimes teammates fall to death (cannot be revived)

First of all, it is a great game. It catches perfectly the atmosphere of Star Wars. No matter the mission the music fits and it feels like that you are part of the Star Wars Universe thanks to the great gameplay. Although it might be tricky at some part it is a great game and the difficulty level can be adjusted to your needs, from the very beginner to the master expert.

It is Star Wars pure and just because it is an older game and the graphics are not that nice anymore, don't hold back this game is must have.
