Fun but dated. I played with controller as a psuedo 3rd person shooter. Kind of a mess but idk I had a lot of fun with it. I'd love to see this series revived.

I just finished my play through and I enjoyed my time with DoL. It's not a perfect game, definitely a bit of jank but I had fun exploring the world, really scratches that RPG itch where you want to get lost in a world, fight some enemies, loot some treasure and level up.

My biggest complaint is the inventory system. In a game where half the fun is looting chests and trying out new armor / weapons it is really a damn shame you can only carry ONE piece if extra equipment. Just ends up causing me to run to the elk and offloading items more than I should be.

The combat is fine, it's not the star of the show but it can be fun against certain enemies. I'd be happy to never have to fight those stupid little plant monsters though.

Overall though, idk, it's hard to not admit I really loved my time with this game. I loved my little adventure with the pilgrim and her mount. If there was more I'd still be playing, genuinely felt sad the adventure came to an end. I see a lot of potential greatness in Amplify Creations future, I can't wait to see what they do next.

The game keeps crashing. I should have refunded it before my two hours were up but I thought maybe the crashes were just a fluke. Nope, just keeps crashing. Happens when we get out of the car randomly.

I just finished my play through and it was fantastic. I think what most people would immediately assume about this game is that it is just a Shadow of the Colossus clone but you also get a dose of Breath of the Wild and something like The Long Dark. If you like those games you'll probably like this. Honestly as neat as some of the bosses were I definitely got sucked into just exploring the world and finding loot and gear. Great game to just get lost in.

Makes you use another launcher, then either goes into a loop of needing to update or playing demo. I bought this game and can't even play it. I'm sure the game might be fine but they put up so many walls to even allow you into the game. After many attempts to fix this via the launcher, steam launcher, and their website I give up. If you really don't want my money then fine, refund it is. What a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ shame.
