Surprisingly poor card handling from the same people that made Shenzhen I/O's solitaire. Maybe it will improve with time.
The lag would be bearable if the game wasn't oriented towards high-speed play, but as it is it makes the game incredibly frustrating to play.
Also, the startup intro music is obscenely long for no discernable reason. It's a nice enough riff, but do I really need to hear it every single round, while I'm locked in and doing absolutely nothing?

Interactions with cards seem to be programmed such that every action has to ping to the server and back before it takes proper hold. This shouldn't need to be the case for picking up your own cards. Other players seeing a half-second old version of your cards doesn't mean you have to have the same problem. First person shooters had various methods of working around this built into their netcode 30 years ago. The developers should consider adopting some of their strategies.

It's a good rhythm game. In general, you will already know if you like this style of game or not.

It also works nearly perfectly on Linux via SteamPlay, with the catch that (as of November 2018) cutscenes like the intro or ending don't display properly, and the game crashes on exit.
