I love and hate Smite. It's my favorite game, I guess... or at least it's that game I click on for some unknown reason every day.

No, really though... it's the best MOBA on the market, it plays more like MMORPG combat rather than that clicky top-down bs from games like LoL. It's tilting... the community can be cancer (welcome to gaming), but just go in not caring what others think and you're good to go.

The payment model is the best in class as well... the God pack is what has kept me from committing to any other MOBA... a couple bucks for EVERY character in the game- ever? No-brainer. Skins can be expensive, I've certainly put money into it... but at least it's optional.

Highly recommend for a PvP fix.

Edit- As of 06/11/2024, if you're not already a veteran I cannot recommend Smite. The newest patch lowered time to kill substantially, and I mean by a huge margin. Players like me are fine, I'm not getting hit anyway... but as a new player? You are capital F ♥♥♥♥♥♥. Patch made the game way less fun, I'm personally going to take a break it's so bad.
