So far so good on my end.

No technical problems.
Nice and casual for someone to just pick up and play.
OST is fitting enough, and the announcer enthusiastic enough but not heard outside of start/finish.

Ah zombies... AH zombies..... AHHH ZOMBIES SHOOOT THEM DAMNIT!!!!

L4D2 arises from the controversy of it being right after L4D and being a sort of expansion pack.... so it's like call of Duty? In retrospect I can respect the boycott call. I can't respect the people as they caved in quickly when the game was actually released but the idea behind it yes.

My first entry into the game was the demo... where me an a new friend ran the gauntlet shoving and shooting our way in expert mode to just turn off the alarm. I made a friend that day and the game got a customer.

This is surviver co-op. Run and Gun (or melee) your way to the safe zone. Along the way you will create stories. Note that I said you will. Not the game creators. The story you will make is one of survival. If you are like me it will begin with you as 1 of 4 survivors all of whom are strangers. Through your shared experience you will create bonds that will convince each other to either leave someone for dead- willingly or not, or fight tooth an nail for a rescue. You may pick up the meta-quirk at raging at the director (the games zombie making AI), you may wish the game allowed for high-fives and hugs.

You smile a small pleased smile while the guy who left all of you for dead is taken out far away from any help. You may see your character beign rescued by said person after they return to rescue you.

But either way it is a very entertaining game (for good or ill) that more than feels that you got your moneys worth.

But if you invite a person who never played a shooter game before, be prepared to rescue, play on a lower difficulty and for f-cks sake DONT STARTLE THE F_CKING WITCH!!!!
