I love Darkest Dungeon, but this mod is horribly imbalanced feeling.

The prep round is a HORRENDOUS idea as I have yet to have it work in my favour (enemies never seem to miss during it while I'm lucky to land anything and god forbid you go against stress dealing enemies which A LOT of them seem to do). See the next bit for further reason why prep round is horrendous.

Why can marks/debuffs be cleansed by mobs while also applying a damage and whatever else buff to them (it eliminates the entire purpose of prep round to have things cleansed)? That is just awful and shouldn't be a thing.

Mobs do way to much damage while also doing way to much stress damage that you are not going to be able to outlast (stress healing in dungeons is a joke, don't bother, just spend all your money/amber to heal stress but have fun being low on hero options).

The mob compositions seem out of whack (by this I mean lack of variety). I constantly run into a healer/support with a tank that hits like a truck and a mob that deals a ton of stress damage (referring to you Djinn dude).

The caverns is not enjoyable to go to what-so-ever. I've yet to have a party come back under 80 stress (typically each) or struggling to keep them healed.

It feels like you are limited to a select few heroes to play for a composition or you are just going to have a VERY bad time. Why does the Occultist still heal for 0 and apply a bleed? At least with base DD there is a mod that fixes that annoying aspect that really shouldn't be possible.

I want to like it, but will wait for further updates where hopefully things will be more balanced and you don't feel like you are slamming your head against your desk because your tank just got crit twice in a row to deaths door and your occultist heals them for 0 and applies a bleed while being so stressed out that you are lucky they didn't pass turn on you to begin with, but probably would have been preferable to the 0 heal+bleed that might just kill your tank when it ticks.

A few minor gripes over some missing quality of life features, but even without them the game is still a blast to play. Remember to Have a Nice Death!
