Ok I have played the game for some time now and have 3 regions and only one level 2 castle which took forever to grind to get there. I tried to get the 4th region but the units they have are all level 2 and 3 units and they also have a onager that just flat out wipes your level 1 units off the map. So I figured yea this looks to be pay to win so what do I do I drop $20.00 to get some better units . Oh guess what you can only buy 1 of those units lol.... but your enemy has 3 of that unit and they are level 2 and 3 you lose. So next I figure I will just try level the one unit but guess what you need to level that building first!! OMG!!!.... yes for every unit you have you have to level that building up first to make it rank 2 unit and it costs 1800 of one resource and 1500 of some other resource to complete just one building. Not sure what it will cost to go rank 3 but I can imagine a heck of alot more for sure!!....And you still have to grind to level up those units too. My concern is I noticed in the video it says that you protect your lands from other players. Though I have not been invaded by any players only AI so far. But my concern is after all the time you spend on trying to level everything and spend real money just to lose everything to someone else who is Rich and wants your Land . your just SOL.. Not sure if thats just multiplyer version or not. Single player version is all that is available atm. But you can battle other players in what they call a Duel.. So my 2 cents is if you have alot of time and money this game is for you if not stay away. I'm going to continue playing it since I have already donated to it and see what happens down the road when the campaign part opens up. I will then post another review then.

Love this game!! Much better then the previous Rome II, The game (mechanics) Really have watch what your doing in this not just run and conquer like before. I feel this game is leading to Medieval III. It's like the early King days. The Dark Ages for sure!!
