So, ive had this game for a week or two and i will say this is the fastest i have warmed up to any dinosaur game!
Now, when i first tried it i thought it was more like a Roblox game on a high budget, and it may as well be - But that doesnt stop it, and that is merely an illusian for what actually occurs in the game.

To start things off, the Dinosaurs! As of now there are more than i can remember or count and most of these animals are playable, and some you may not have even heard of (E.G. Allosaurus Jimadseni). I will happily say that the Models and Skins are very well made, even with noticeable changes between AI Characters and Player characters, which have different color schemes from eachother to tell them apart. They also have some very interesting jiggle physics.
Unfortunately, the place where the dinosaurs suffer most is their Sound Design, which is essentially stock sounds with poor editing. I am however confident that these will improve however.

The Map is unique with different areas containing various species. And while it can look dull at times, there are a fare share of memorable areas. Leaving your area or gaining too high ground will cause your dinosaurs to lose health, which i think is unfortunate but also necessary to stop you from progressing too quickly.

It may have been quick, but i would say Pangea is off to a strong start.
A Light 8/10 in my opinion, a game with lots of potential!

On that note, the Progression mode is simple but functional and is easy to get used to. You simply kill other dinosaurs or just stay alive to gain points, which you can use to increase your Speed or Strength (One sacrifices the other), Weather resistance or unlock the next Dinosaur. You can also save your game to keep progress for a certain creature.

Now, time to talk about the best part of the game - its Developers. Compare these absolute ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ chads to other Dinosaur games (E.G The Isle, Primal Carnage Extinction) and they are BY FAR the best Development squad i have ever seen in terms of attitude and focus, they are simply brilliant people. They constantly try their hardest to pump out updates and are willing to listen to criticism regardless. I Myself have spoken to one of the devs, Of whom i shall not mention, about a project i am working on, that i shall not speak of.

Saurian is a Dinosaur based game which wants to recreate North America as it was 65 Million Years Ago, however is this game what it seems?

Saurian is a high graphics dinosaur game which focuses on your survival in a harsh world from 65 MYA. The game looks great, has good mechanics and pretty nice Dinosaur/Creature designs.

However, there is little to be in Saurian. As of now, the only playable creatures are Dakotaraptor and Triceratops. Now would be a good time to mention that this game is progressing at a snails pace and will not get into too many places at the current rate.

However, what it lacks in playability, it makes up for in challenge. Saurian is admittedly a reasonably hard game compared to others. Growing can take a while and there is a lot which wants to kill you. Finding food as a carnivore is also a problem, and not looking out for large Carnivores can get you in a rough position.

The AI in this game is also decent. Dakotaraptor will attack you as soon as you become a juvenile. The Socialism mechanic is also interesting, as you can now scare off or attract other creatures. Creatures know when to run, fight or follow which is also cool.

The Dinosaur models and designs in this game are, without a doubt, very good. The Dakotaraptor especially stands out.
However, the Tyrannosaur model is by far the worst. Thankfully, there is another model which is currently in development and will be added soon. You can see this if you look around, and it looks like a vast improvement.

Overall, Saurian may not have much to do but it is fun if you enjoy yourself a good challenge. The graphics are great, AI is great, Models are good, Mechanics are amazing, and is Pretty accurate as far as current paleontology goes. The game is however updating slowly, but im confident the game will get there eventually.

A light 8/10. An incredibly challenging game with an incredible amount of potential.

Second Extinction. An incredible bloody, gory, violent, and yet really fun Dinosaur homicide rampage simulator. This game is purely 3 things:
1: Kill
2: Do your main objectives
3: Slaughter every single dinosaur you see
And for these reasons it is beyond incredible, and at times hilarious.

Heres the story:
Earth has been overrun by Bloodthirsty mutant Dinosaurs of which hid underground to create an incredible hive. These Dinosaurs have destroyed humanity to no more than atoms, leaving only so many survivors behind.
James Pearce is the Director of the E.R.A, the community name for the last surviving humans. He also runs the EX-U. The EX-U is a team of 5 people.
Rosy, a heavy Enforcer who mows down dinosaurs on instant.
Amir, a specialist in Explosives and Snipers.
Ortega, a Commando who rushes into battle.
Jürgen, who is basically John Hammond on steroids from 2050.
And Sarah, the eyes and ears of the other characters.

These characters are each fun and unique in terms of playstyle, which allows a more interesting overall gameplay experience. These classes also have different sets of available weapons.

Sniper Rifle: A high power, high range and high accuracy rifle capable of tackling most dinosaurs.
Assault Rifle: With the right wielder, it can be a formidable weapon to both Raptors and Tyrannosaurs alike.
Shotgun: A powerhouse, capable of killing anything within its short, yet powerful range.
Carbine: A Semi-Automatic Sniper rifle. While weak in firepower, it is worthy of near-Sniper ranges.
Pistol: A surprisingly good and underrated weapon, with a decent fire rate, power, range, and accuracy.
Revolver: A high power and range pistol.
SMG: An incredible sidearm, capable of tackling dinosaurs beyond what you might think.
Minigun: A high ammo, high rate of fire weapon capable of mowing down the largest of dinosaur armies within seconds.
Grenade Launcher: In my eyes, it is the best weapon. Decent ammo and, with the right upgrades, decimates any dinosaur. And yes, that includes Tyrannosaurs.

But of course, you are here for the Dinosaurs.
Watchers: Annoying little pests which must be killed with fire on sight.
Raptors: Weak and relentless, raptors spawn in high numbers. Always eradicate larger dinosaurs first.
Spitters: Monolophosaurid in shape, Spitters shoot acid pools from their mouths capable of doing DoT damage. Spitters are also remarkable agile.
Electro Raptors: Capable of dodging your bullets faster than light, and with the ability to stun you, they truly are a ''OH GOD KILL IT NOW'' in large numbers.
Bone Raptors: WIth armor plating, it is always best to knock over these raptors to get to their soft spots.
Alpha Raptors: Shockingly weak, Alpha raptors give nearby dinosaurs a Damage Boost which sends them into a rage.
Ankylosaurus: With a bony back and a smashing tail, it is best to knock it over with explosives to get it at its soft underbelly, where it can quickly be killed.
Styracosaurus: There are two kinds of Styracosaurs. Armored and Non armored. You can tell which is worse. And with a high speed and high power stat, Styracosaurs must be killed immediantly.
Tyrannosaurus Rex: Easily the big bad of the game, Tyrannosaurus are capable of anything. Knocking you over with roars, Spitting, Biting, Jumping, Pushing, you can name it. Tyrannosaurus are incredibly fun to fight.

And of course, the mechanics in this game are AMAZING. These include:
Ragdoll dinosaurs knocking over non-ragdoll dinosaurs.
Styracosaurus, Ankylosaurs and Tyrannosaurs accidentally killing raptors
Fall Damage
Dinosaur Suicide
Supply drops killing dinosaurs
Impressive Dinosaur Dodging systems
Motion-tracked dinosaur animations

Overall, this game is shockingly good and is for a must get for anyone who enjoys blasting dinosaurs to shreds. With incredible Designs, animations, and overall gameplay, i can see myself playing this game for ages to come. My expectations were far exceeded.

In conclusion, i give this Homicidal masterpiece and strong 9/10. Keep going devs, im looking forward to future updates!

I feel as though this game does not get the respect it deserves, it as a beautiful mix of Jurassic World and Ark Survival Evolved in a futuristic style, the Crafting system is very much in this game and its thouroughly enjoyable to walk around in specific envionrments, collect DNA fragments, see the local wildlife and collect resources to make equipment which can help u get MORE Recourses or make new weapons to help in your fight against rogue creatures, and on top of this there is a Multiplayer mode which i plan on trying. I do recommend this game, however there are a few bugs.

This game is fairly annoying... The controls need to be constantly revised and unlocking new Dinosaurs is a challenge beyond belief. On top of that, crashes with this game are common.
