Can't complain about the graphics, or the gameplay (though the drive by wire opponents ignoring the limits of their vehicles for the sake of 'challenge' could be WAY better implemented). Neither are fantastic, but I still enjoyed them.

If you are expecting a storyline, you are however **** outta luck.

There is so little character interaction, that the only characters development is happening in a completely seperate storyline you never have any involvement in except when they give you like 2 mins of expo near the end of the game.

When I say the writing team did EA dirty... You know it had to be bad.

And its always nice when they pay the celebrity to basically repeat the same like at the end of every 'takeover' event. I'm starting to think they had to pay him by the word so just got him to say 'struggle' once and spliced it into every 4 words of dialogue. Also, when you do get to race him - he literally gives up if you beat him, doesnt even try to finish, like a child trying to take his ball away when the other kids. Surprised he gave the okay to representing him like that.

Still a fun racing game.

So I've been playing around for 30 hours.

I'm using a 9 year old rig 8gb ram, games on a non solid state drive with a vega 56 graphics card playing on max settings at 1080p, 42 fps is the lowest I've hit. Seems fairly optimised to me. Only thing i notice is that driving around at speed sometimes one or two models take a lil long to load in a high ql texture. but thats definitely my hardware.

Theres a couple of graphical glitches. One vehicle handling bug outside a club and theres one or two 'cutscenes' that also have actions you need to take with your normal controls that could do with seperating so you dont accidently pick a chat option while your tryna click a thing. And maybe the police need to be more 'aware' of when you have backed away from them after being warned. but in a game world that big, thats not a great deal of issues to have found.

Other than that its pretty solid for its first coupla days released.

DO NOT PURCHASE ITEMS, they charge 3 different prices for identical products depending on where you buy them. They do not update their currency conversions regularly. Russians get packs cheaper even after currency conversion.

Also their pack descriptions are misleading, their customer service advisors don't know how their store works, and in the event that they do not provide you with what is advertised at the price stated - Their response is 'no that's not what we meant' and they refuse to eliaborate on this in any way.

Basically it would be a decent game if the support wasnt incompetent and the company not blatant thieves.

DO NOT GIVE THESE SCAMMERS MONEY - feel free to use their admittedly decent game for free though.

If you want an example of 'P2W and proud', download this mess.

Simplified aiming system eliminates any claims of 'skill'.

P2W weapons ignoring shields/cover = any claims of tactical involvement.

The ONLY thing that affects outcome of any match is at what rate people on your team have spent levelling up their gear vs the opposing team.

No in game chat, but they managed to find the time to implement a 'have a look at what this guy won' system to encourage underage gambling etc.

BASIC cash grab. 0/10 cannot support this level of obvious nonesense.

I state the above as indesputable fact, dont waste your time trying to convince people this is an 'opinion'. They are not the same thing.

This game is a huge fun timesink solo, I've enjoyed every second of it.

I was about to purchase abberation, and thought tell you what, i'll give online a go (i've been playing on my own for too long)...

only to find that the multiplayer experience is NOT garaunteed. The entire taming side of the game appears to hinge on you finding a server with nobody else on it... servers with avg 33 players online have tame caps hit and if its a pve server, the ONLY way you can take part in the game in full (no taming is not the full experience) is by attempting to tame just when someone elses dino happens to die LOL didnt see this HUGE GAMEBREAKING LIMITATION advertised in the multiplayer requirements section. It says all I need to play is a broadband connection...... LIES, you also need the luck of the devil or to find a server thats just been wiped.

Any suggestions that I should just keep looking for a server need to understand that server hopping is not something I consider a 'game' and i dont feel i should have to 'work' to play a game I paid for.

Still fun offline though - but at 50 quid, I wouldnt bother, you'll get a more consistent experience in Rust, FACT.
