Cheating is extremely rampant. Valve does nothing to fix this just like other companies. Do not recommend unless you are a masochist.

Let me start off by saying I don't believe the game is necessarily bad. The Game is good but in my honest opinion it is not worth the full money. This game feels empty. The game lacks so much content and playability compared to the RE2 Remake that its pathetic. This feels more like a glorified DLC for the RE2 remake. Its so short and so small comparitively that you could beat the game rather quickly. I spent hours upon hours just in RPD on RE2 just searching and looking around for hidden things and notes etc. There just isn't much exploration or "tidbits" of investigation. It feels so rushed that it lacks serious content. I really think they messed this game up especially since there are things not even included which were in the original. I just hope if they plan on doing another remake of another game (RE4 possibly) that they do not do what they did with RE3. CAPCOM take your time and spend resources making a good game with lots of content. Even the old versions of the RE games have more content than this and they had a small fraction of the storage space to do so. This is starting to happen with all game development. Big price tag for so little content. It's sad but this is what games are coming to.

TLDR: Lacks content and replayability. Not worth $60 find it on ♥♥♥ for cheap if you want to play it.

One of the best coop experiences hands down. I love it when there is a ghost that is based off of having someone alone so then we pick straws on who gets to go in alone. A friend picked the short straw or should i say furthest number from 8 from a 1-10 scenario and had to go it alone in the high school. We told him to rile up the ghost by saying his name. Shortly the radios got quiet and I investigated only the hear a trembling voice saying over and over again p***y into the local chat. Then another investigator joined me in helping him out by sitting with him. Then the Attacks started focusing in. I picked up the second crucifix only to see the MotherF***** come straight towards me as always. I threw the crucifx at its forehead and as my friends say hearing my last words were "you have got to be f*****g kidding me" to then only see me be strangled to death. To which my comrades looked at each other said no words then proceeded to leave the building immediately. Morale of the story. The ghosts hate me.

PS: another funny good story: Another investigator picked the furthest number to go it in alone. When I went to the front door of a house all I could hear was him calling the ghost a moron and idiot and that it was afraid of him saying several slurs and nasty comments to the ghost. Needless to say I think it worked because the ghost never came back out again. 10/10 Wills always play again

"Original Review"-6 years and just now getting into the beta. That's pathetic although I completely expect this from bohemia and they at this point only care about the money. If i could I would get my money back for this game. Mod is better to me and always will be.

"New Review" It's been along time since this game was released early access. Couple of years from my last review. This game has come along way just in the two years since my review. It came from a steaming pile of ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ to a enjoyable experience I have came to like. This game does not beat the mod but at this point thats because it is two totally different games and concepts. I have a server I play on I host with the base namalsk mods and a codelock mod (the dial locks are freaking aweful). Survival in this game is beautiful hell all PVE elements are great. Its one of the few games out there that hit the marks on PVE and well balances it with some PVP. I now recoomend this game if people are looking for a fantastic PVE expeirence with some PVP. The game doesn't have the pop that some other games like RUST or something similar may have but it was never intended for that. My main beef with this game now is just how bohemia didn't focus on the game like they should have to start with. The definitely could of gave it more effort in the begining but now seeing where the game is I'll just stamp that NULL. Game is really fun and mostly bug free from my experiences. Again check it out for the PVE and light PVP experiences. (If you want to join my server its US162 Namalsk)

Game is okay at best. Funny ♥♥♥♥ happens. Big groups own the servers and are hard for small groups or solo players. It is frustrating for the lower end. Several game unblances make wipes near unplayable because people have tier 3 weapons on day 1. Dev's aren't really making an effort to balance things. Game is okay. Do I recommend the game? No unless you like frustration and wasting several hours building and gaining only to lose it to big groups and feel defenseless against it.
