It was promising but after a year and a half in early access hasn't progressed much. There was a roadmap with plans for 4 major updates in 2021 but there was just one update and it was just a few assets or changes in food.
When you ask about the roadmap on the forum and why the game isn't updated much, your message is removed.

The game has great potential, but I can't recommend it.

Updated: development seems to speed up a bit with new content. Having fun with friends. Still, I didn't like seeing people being censored.
