Supervive is honestly the best game I've played in probably 5-10 years. It has the game play of Battlerite x Apex Legends x Smash Bros, the soul of League of Legends, and what feels like endless room for creativity and growth.

I cannot recommend the game highly enough, just give it a shot and bring some friends, you'll find yourself hooked in no time. :)

So started playing this game as a meme for me and friends, rare game during LoL queues, "free super smash bros on PC" and whatnot but honestly Brawlhalla is probably my favorite fighting game on the market right now. There's really something just so satisfying about stringing combos together and using some of the mobility mechanics in game allow you to really maneuver, especially in the air, in a way most other fighting games don't.

Couple mechanics stand out to me that make the gameplay interesting:

- No block, you dodge: I don't really need to go deep on this one, I just find a game without blocking lends itself to much more aggressive play being an option and with the amount and ways that you can dodge it doesn't feel necessary to block anyway.

- Shared Weapons: All legends have 2 weapons that they can pick up during a match and these 13 weapons are shared between characters. All legends have their own individual "Sigs" or Signature moves (Heavy attacks) but if two legends use the same base weapon all of their light attacks and their aerials are identical. This has made it much easier to learn and face unfamiliar characters who use the same weapons, simplifying some of the learning curve.

- Gravity Cancelling: If you do an air dodge in place and immediately use an attack your character will act as though they are standing on the ground. Allows you to mix up aerial combat a bit and perform some interesting combos with moves that you'd expect to only use on the floor like Sigs.

- Chase Dodge: After hitting an enemy you can dodge in any direction to cover a LOT of ground, this combined with the fact that it's at any angle can help enable a ton of sick combos.

Final remarks:

- If you want to see some ridiculous stuff take a look at one of the best players in the world Sandstorm for some wild highlights: https://youtu.be/pKcG9pENSN8

- If you're whining about getting screwed over by people spamming then just learn to dodge and play around the spam instead of whining about it, trust me you'll have more fun trying to win than complaining they are and running at your opponent.

- IMO it's a great game, highly recommend to sink some spare time (or maybe entire nights with the homies if you can get some people you can play regularly).
