Spoke with the developers. They said to me, they're going to be releasing Free Expansions for this game. No money, no nothing. Buy this game, support them, they're true developers. I love it, it's a good puzzler. It's relaxing. They made something great here. Don't sleep on this one. It's a keeper!

Early Access Review
I won't deny it. It's Fun, Addicting and rewarding in every way. The most interesting thing is the Developer himself is planning Expansions for the game in the future, so there's more to come.

It's worth it. Buy it and see your own civilization come to life bit by bit.

I've been having a blast with this game. However, I do feel like it's a bit on the incomplete side of things. I've maybe done runs that got me to the 2nd floor, but there are no upgrades that help you increase your energy or anything that helps you feel like your progressing. I mean, sure you can take cards that say -energy this or + corruption that, but even as you go on and try to beat the harder enemies, it just feels like the game is punishing you, just to punish you for trying to progress or become better.

I want to continue playing, but.... I just feel like the game isn't giving me much to work with at the moment. It just feels like a turn order. Fight bad guy = gain cards, fight more bad guy =gain card but almost near death, fight boss, almost kill the boss =Party dead

Developers if your reading this. At least... understand how hard this is... as a customer.

Before the 1.0.9 update of Outpath. I was the one that went to the developer and told them, that the saves were not loading (This was Update 1.0.8 a two days ago) We had a long conversation, gave him a Youtube Video of my issue and before you know it, come 1.0.9 the not loading issue was fixed, thanks to a long conversation on Discord/Steam.

Cheers, David. We're in this together. The Outpath community is in good hands. ^^

I personally think that a lot of people, the negative reviews in fact do have some very good points in what they're saying about the game. However, I feel most... not all.. are being a bit too harsh on it and while I do agree maybe close to 30$ is something to be cautious about. The developers could of priced it at 40 or 60$ and while I don't believe that they would intentionally do that. My point is that the game is unique and fun and gives off a casual vibe that you normally wouldn't do on other games, not only that... I get the game is very short but the developers themselves have stated that they're planning on adding more content, patches, and maybe DLC in the future.

They haven't abandoned it and for some I can understand where they might be coming from with the whole "Lack of content" argument I see a lot on these reviews. Not every Developer is E.A or Activision. Have some faith and let them rest for their hard work. You'll be surprised of what they'll give us in the future.

Love Knights of Honor 1, and want to relieve your glory days in the old game? Knights of Honor II Sovereign is for you. And man, do I have to tell you. It is FREAKING amazing. It's nothing like Crusader Kings or Total war, do not go into this game expecting a replacement. If you're a hardcore fan of the Franchise like me, YOU"LL POUR HOURS UPON HOURS INTO THIS BABY!

Buy it if you enjoy a relaxing and strategical type of game. You won't regret it. :)

This game, despite how old it is, has aged pretty well; I say this because a lot of people have trouble with the resolution. You could easily patch this up with the Ultimate Edition Patch, which gives you all the HD Glory you could get; while I understand Knights of Honor II is coming out, I will definitely say that I have had a blast. No, this is not a Crusader Kings game or a Total War clone. This is it's own thing and take on it.

Who gives a damn about the Negative Reviews, they don't know a good game when they see it. Trust me on this. Don't put yourself off, give the game a chance and I swear to the living gods, you will be invested for several hours and be thankful that you listened to me and my advice. :)

Would I recommend this game? YES!
What about the DLC? For that, I can give you a honest mixed answer. Yes and No. Yes, because there are some that are pretty good. However, I disagree only because the seasons passes vary and the DLC's for each season are either horrible or good in their own respective ways.
This game is good in my book.

Buy it and show the developers you care about their work!

Cyberpunk 2077. Now you might be looking at my review and being like, "Is this guy serious? He's making a good review? He must be really brave to be this honest", Whether you agree with me or not that's your choice and yours alone.

Gameplay? I'll vote this at a 7/10. Why? The gameplay is good but it's not groundbreaking or something to celebrate. You got your guns, your knifes, katana's, grendaes. All of these are fine and all but it doesn't stop there. You can craft, you got your map. It's no GTA 5 but it certainly feels Deus Ex like. If I were to compare it to a game. You can kill civilians, you can shoot cars, and raid gang hideout; the future is grim.

Main Campaign/Side Missions? Okay, I'll rate this at a 7.5 with the main missions giving it 2 points putting it at 8.5. These are pretty well done to the point it surprises me at each turn. First you try and steal an important artifact, then your jumping off a building while the entire army fires it's gun at ya. It's a wild ride, and it keeps letting you know it's wild as you venture fourth until you encounter the BBEG himself or the Big Bad Evil guy to be exact. Your actions and choices DO matter, unlike certain other games that say "they matter" when they don't. To be exact, you will not get the same ending every single time. It's going to be different between your playthrough everytime.

All in all. Guaranteed a good game. It may not be the game of the century, but it does well to uphold it's good written story.
