I playing it many years, is something unique in this game.

A weak and artificial extension to the game. It tries to develop sea areas, but it does so in a strange and indirect way. It adds further lottery elements to the game that we have no influence on.

Gra z gatunku RTS. Całkiem godna polecenia.

Najpierw minusy:
- Gra w kampanii polega w połowie na oglądaniu filmów, które czasami aż za bardzo się ciągną i przeszkadzają, niestety nie da się ich przeskoczyć nawet przy powtarzaniu misji.
- Nietypowe jest to, że nie ma mini mapki, więc aby ogarniać co się dzieje coraz częściej z czasem musimy grac na widoku globalnym gdzie nie widzimy ładnej grafiki, lecz tylko znaczki na mapie - to dla mnie minus. Ciągłe skakanie pomiędzy widokiem globalnym, jedynym możliwym ujęciem strategicznym mapy, a widokiem normalnym gdzie można rozgrywać precyzyjnie cały mikro-management w akcji.

Plusy:
- Sama gra jest bardzo przyjemna. Graficznie ładna.
- Sterowanie na mapie i dowolność obracania widoku to duży plus.
- Miłe strategiczne przechodzenie jednostek do dalszych etapów. Warto ćwiczyć jednostki i ich nie tracić bo przechodzą wyćwiczone na dalsze etapy kampanii. Podobnie jest ze zbieraniem artefaktów: lepiej jest rozbijać wszystkie złoża surowców bo one są tam poukrywane. Czyli czasem lepiej poświęcić więcej czasu w misji i wyszkolić wojo i wyeksploatować mapę zanim się scenariusz skończy. To pomoże w ostatnich najtrudniejszych scenariuszach.
- Zbalansowane jednostki, chyba każda ma jakieś plusy. Jest ich nie za dużo i nie za mało, wg mnie tak akurat.
- Ukształtowania terenu pozwalają na manewry mikro-taktyczne którymi można wygrać tam gdzie się przegrywa.

Ludzie narzekają na konieczność pozostawanie online, bo inaczej gra nie daje się uruchomić. Ja nie spotkałem tej sytuacji, sieć cały czas działa, ale ci co mają problemy z siecią powinni to uwzględnić.
Myślę, że na zagrywki skirmiszowe będę tu czasem wracał. 3v3 na AI jest całkiem spoko, tylko trzeba wybrać swój poziom przeciwników, bo inaczej nas rozjadą. Gra jest jeszcze dla mnie do odkrycia o aspekty multiplayer.

Its good addition. Two original and strong new races. In my opinion its "must have" for this game.

Its really epic game. You can do whatever you want. And most importantly, there is a private group mode and a solo mode. You can play with other people and you can rest from them if you want.
And galaxy is huge, virtually infinite number of solar systems. Human life is too short to visit 10% of them.

Hard survival. Game very interesting, but often too hard to be really fun.
Winning on beginner level is easy because enemies are passive. On normal level is true game and its quite hard. All my normale level games were abandoned after any disaster when AI advantage was very visible. I feel like most decided in Shadow Empire are decisions and promises that the game forces on us and which are often impossible to fulfill. It looks like we have a choice: either promise something impossible or promise nothing, and then our prestige decreases. I give up.

This is definitely not a game for every average player.

The most discouraging factor is the game's generation of events and factors that shape our empire according to what the program itself has decided and there is nothing we can do about it. sometimes I wonder who is playing for me here. Why does so little depend on the player and so much on the algorithms? Unrealistic demands with only options that are bad for us, events that change our political system that we have no influence on, or cards with elements of the Galactic Republic that decide everything. Sad lottery.

Its very interesting, but units icons look worse than in standard game which makes the game unreadable and takes away the fun ( i using NATO symbols)

Very nice game

I cannot recommend this game. The idea and gameplay are interesting. But there are serious downsides. What bothers me the most is the very bright backlighting of the graphics, as if it was done in flash, the background of the world damages the eyes, burns the monitor and leads to a quick headache. Playing here is sometimes like looking into a light bulb.
The AI is schematic and can be easily played.
Our units gain experience by levels but they quickly become useless anyway, we have to throw them away and produce much stronger ones. The game is designed to breed super heroes and they can kill anything by themselves, the rest of the army is just background.

Gra ciagle sie rozwija więc trudno przewidziec na czym skończy. Na razie jest calkiem dobrze. Martwi jedynie fakt, że w ostatnim roku wyraxnie dało sie zauwazyc zwiekszenie obciążenia komputera, więc może byc tak że w wersji 1.0 pograja tylko ci, co maja wymaksowane nowe komputery.
