Honestly I was amazed by this game despite it initially flying under my radar. There's so much more to it than what you first see, and I cannot WAIT to see where it goes from here! Works super great for such an early build too.

Best 3 bucks I've ever spent on a game, amazingly fun and addictive too. With the consistent updates that keep coming out, I'll be coming back to play this every time there's new content HAPPILY!

Early Access Review
Despite some rough issues at the launch, the devs have been CONSTANTLY working on the game and improving it since. There are many small issues to be ironed out, as with any new released Early Access title, but honestly of all the many Early Access games I've played over the years, this one has shown the most promise and dedication.

As for a review of the gameplay itself, it's incredibly solid, if with a bit of a learning curve that's less frustrating and more satisfying as you learn it. This coming from a guy who found Dark Souls learning curve the opposite. As an MMO, I am impressed with how a small indie dev can make servers that run so well with so many players in the same areas, when I've played AAA MMO's that can't manage the same.
I am also a big fan of how the game revolves around crafting, without having cumbersome and annoying survival aspects bolted on, I've had more than enough survival games tyvm, and this one is great without those features. Such things would only take away from the fun of the game and needlessly slow things down.

As for the bad, it can feel like a long grind ahead of you, but so far, I've not had a single moment where it felt like I was grinding without achieving anything, which has always turned me off other MMO games in the past.

I really recommend this game if you have any interest at all based on the trailer on the Steam store page. It's surpassed every one of my expectations.

Addictive as hell, huge in scale, and you really feel like you're always improving. Can't wait to see what else comes between this huge early access and final launch, but in the mean time it offers me plenty to enjoy.

So far I have nothing but love for this game, it offers all you could want minus a single thing; multiplayer. That's the funny thing though, the only way I can see a major improvement to this game is to be able to play it with friends! It seems such a thing will never happen in Kenshi, but word is possibly in a sequal it could happen. I hope that's true, but till then I'll be enjoying my time wandering through the deserts of Kenshi being a total badass!
