Elite:Dangerous is a strange game to quantify.

If you like games like Trucking simulator, but feel like it doesn't contain enough SPACE, E:D would perfectly scratch that itch.
If you want a space flight simulator where you can feel like a swashbuckling bounty hunter pirate, E:D scratches that itch.

There are plenty of things to dislike as well. Some of the main complaints consist of: Credits grind, "Mile wide, inch deep, bad progression, no story, etc..."

If you can look past that, Elite offers plenty to enjoy and is recommendable. If you can't, you won't enjoy it and will end up quitting the game quick.

Despite its flawed combat and one-track-minded AI, stellaris remains a completely enjoyable Grand-Strategy.

In the end, it didn't really matter.

The perfect introduction to the world of Virtual Reality.
Demonstrates many of the capabilities of what VR can do, without overcomplicating or overstaying its welcome.
