I highly recommend this game.
Star General is the most unique and well developed of the 5 Star series.
The races have enough variation that they each offer unique gameplay options.
there is less unit variety in ground combat, but there is still more than enough to provide plenty of options, including deploying nuclear weapons.

If you could put down the other factions, it would be much better. Without that, it is just whack a mole.

This is puzzle game in which you are the monster. As you unlock various abilities, you can go back and unlock puzzles that were previously unbreachable.
I am not really a fan of puzzle games, but this one held my interest to completion. As I was able to complete everything on the first run within five hours, I would not call it a $20 game.
If you enjoy horror and puzzles, I would recommend picking up when it goes on sale.

Best use of a minigun in a game. Would Jesse Ventura xenomorphs again. 10\10
