Game is pretty good and a good simulator that isnt too complex, graphics are meh, but its a game made by one person.

Suggestions:

-Different way of getting money, getting money via objectives is a little bit of annoying.
-Time acceleration during reactor operation. Especially early on when you can't fully shutdown a reactor without upgrades it seems (ie more pumps and steam gens to transfer the heat away from the reactor), but time passes very slowly imo, I have like 11 hours or so and I havent had to do any maintenance stuff or even been able to shut down the reactor to fix the control rods.

Learning curve: there is somewhat of a learning curve, but the the guides on steam are enough to get you to know how to turn it on

Also is there any way to clearly see if the fuel needs to be changed? Im guessing the reactor will need to be continually adjusted to account for the fuel being less effective?

Look, this is a good game, not great or not fantastic, but its good. The game does have a lot of neat features, but compared to games like JPOG, it doesn't hold up. While the game looks fantastic and has a lot of dinos, some of the more lackluster features look like they are from a mobile version. I guess Ill start off by listing the cons

Cons:

Small maps and not much customization within the main maps: One of the main staples of JPOG was the random island generator, in which you could use. The only thing Evolution has thats close to it, is the sandbox island, which I havent gotten to yet, but it is basically a basic sandbox with unlimited money. Another problem I have with the maps, are their small sizes, which limits customization. This area of the game features will definitely shorten the life of this game unless addressed, no one really like repetetive playthrough.

Park Management and guests: This is another lackluster area of the game and it made me think I was playing a mobile game just because of the emptiness of it all. Literally there needs to be more of challange with managing the park guests, the only thing they react to is when a dino breaks out, otherwise all they do is walk around. There is no experience of satifying specific needs, it just makes the game dull to be honest. There is no atmosphere with there being guests in the park.

Dinosaurs: While this may be just a bug and not really a true con, but some of the dinosaurs dont seem to wake back up after being put to sleep. There also some odd behaviour from dinos from them not being able to settle down, but all in all, the dino ai is actually really put together and is one of the game's strengths.

Pros:

Good dino ai
Good dino handling system
A huge variety of dinos
Looks good graphically and makes you feel, visually, like youre at the park

Final Verdict: Look the game is fun, but if no future redesigns of the game's visitor mechanics and replayability, the game isn't going to have a long life span, maybe lke 3-4 months once everyone gets through the campaign. It has tremendous potential to be like JPOG, but it needs to more management depth and more depth in general.

7/10

Early Access Review
This game is a gem. There is no other zombie survival game out there that matches the realism and difficulty. Sure the graphics aren't spectacular, but the gameplay and the game's features far surpass any other similar game. By playing the game, you wouldn't think that its an early access game because of how long it has been being developed. Its a 10/10 in my book.

Early Access Review
If you ever played space station 13, this is right up your alley. Sure its still in early access and there are some bug, nothing game breaking. Literally since I got this game, I've been experimenting with everything and Ive had a blast

Pros:
-Runs fine on my computer. gtx 960m graphics card btw
-no gamebreaking bugs
-gameplay that isn't too overwhelming
-lots of potential
-in my opinion, the ui is fine, gets some getting used too, but I dont see it as a con, just need more direction on what some of the buttons do.
Cons
-Lack of description of what certain things do (being improved on though).
-Main menu is at 30 fps, but main game is running at 60 fps
-Need ways for garbage cleanup instead of just throwing out to space (thats just my ocd talking).

I have been following the development of this series for a while. Yes there are problems with the game, yes the graphics are bad, and yes it is much different in terms of what challenger was. The thing is that the game is being developed by two guys, ones a teacher/professor. He is very open to suggestions and always requests bug reports, especially if they are game-breaking because he will fix them ASAP. The game has come along way since the original concept demo, which was fun. The one thing, for the most part, the developers will not leave the game like others have done with other titles. They will keep at, even though it might take a while for the next version to come. Now a lot of people that helped test challenger have said many realisitc mechanics of the game have been taken out. This could be for many reasons on a development point or they kinda made it easier for newcomers to get used to the game.

Pros:
COOP with friends
More freedom than Challenger
Active devs who respond to suggestion and bug reports

Cons
Some game breaking bugs -(reported and are being fixed)
Bad graphics for today's gaming market (Made by two people over a number of years, and graphics don't really make games. Look at minecraft.
Less realism than challenger, but really doesn't take away from gameplay fun.

Overall the game does have a lot to go through. The price is fair, I mean I bought the whole series for $30 before Frontier was even on a computer and for just $10 you will be getting what you pay for and in the future you will be rewarded with bug fixes and what not. The devs will not abandon this title until the bugs are fixed and there might be more content.
