It's a great game that's seemingly a love letter to classic shmups. I'd also consider this a fairly beginner friendly game to the shmup genre, alot of easily learnable patterns, some great forgiving mechanics and a soundtrack that just hits right. Ever played a game to reach a moment ? That's me and GreenOrange mode at the start of 1-4

The game is a nice blend of castlevania:symphony of the night and ikaruga that clocks in at around 5-6 hours. I hope they reuse these assets and expand on it to a grander scope like sotn.

The one more run feel is god(s) damned real. The gameplay loop is very tight grab a weapon make your way out ; you'll find your favourite combo or weapons and boons of course. It almost feels like SuperGiant's Magnum Opus and would stay like it if I didn't feel confident they're working on something that'll eventually top this.

If you're looking for a game with that feels like an old Star wars story, with a metroidvania systems and souls combat(on hardest) give it a shot.
