Graphics are an instant classic. Super pretty. Music is also great - Played it in co-op - all battles in Regular dif. level. It's hard, but you should probably know it by know. It is also fairly fair - There were times I got bit frustrated, but nothing that I'd call a total BS (didn't play it on expert aiming for an S rank, mind you).

Great for two players, although there is a bi of sensory overload at times with two players blasting two different weapons and obscuring each other views, but I guess this is given in such games.

My 2nd playthrough after like 2 years. My first was on Switch. Some things that were lacking got repaired throughout, and I'm super happy to reccomend it.

Great atmosphere and pixel-art graphics. Amazing style. This is the closest Captain Claw game you can get platform-wise. It's not ideal - player movement is a bit limited. Lore is pretty cool, but you should be aware it is given to ou in a Dark Souls fashion - which is, reading item descriptions. I like it some don't.

Difficulty level is alright - fairly easy, sometimes frustrating due to some mechanics, again - Captain Claw level of movement, maybe tad better. Props to the devs for keeping this game alive after all this time.

This is really quite sad example of how the game industry sometimes works. The game may not be on the top shelf of quality, barely fitting 'the solid-good' one. And yet it IS a good game. And not in the way of 'guilty pleasure' good, no. This title is a great example of a sereis in which the second one corrects every mistake of the first one.

Unfortunatelly we do not have the possibility to play second one and we are left with this flawed piece of a 'sketch'. And whilst it is a quite nice idea for a drawing, it is not by any means perfect one. Starting with a mediocre graphics, very hard to rate depending on which side we are looking at (faces and interiors are really nice, the rest is... meh). The gameplay is I'd say quite poor and very repetitive.

And yet this title took more than 20 hours of my life. And I do not regret it at all. Because as far as the plot, the character, the music adn the climat goes the game is just outstanding! I could really, (without any problems whatsoever) close an eye on a technical side in this case. Take it without a hesitation if you are the player for whom the story development is more important than a gameplay. Especially if you liked the Sabouteur and you are keen on the 40s, noire, and jazz

This is not a game, this is an interactive virtual installation. Experience which is my biggest dissapointment for this year. It's not even a horror. It's not like I hate it, not at all. It is quite good as long as you are not expecting anything from it. BUT with this ending it is... I don't know... Here's a spoiler so watch out SPOILER: I am not again homosexuality and showing it in the media of any sort as long as it is not just for controversy. Although the ending of gone home in which all fuss surrounds the fact that the lesbian sister flees and at the same time steals pricey things from the house is rather... boring? dissapointing? Also, the climate that this game is trying to create means nothing as there is no threat in the entire game. END OF A SPOILER which basically resolvses the question of "Why was it game of the year for some people" sort.

There is not much of a music, graphics is ok, basically nothing outstandig whatsoever. If you like interactive experience like Dear Esther or Proteus (and mind me that this was a crap) ...sure. But don't expect to much.
