One of the better pinball sim's that isn't in legal trouble. Sadly they are doing bad business practices with their newer game that's on the Epic store like requiring people to rebuy all their tables again from FX3.

Lucky that this game hasn't (yet) turn into that type of model yet and the tables are okay priced atm but would suggest waiting for sales which tends to happen often.

Unluckily there isn't much alternatives (Specially if you want to play the old William's tables) as pinball arcade has legal trouble and online open sourced sims cannot compare. (And most likely have legal trouble either.)

If you haven't invested and unsure to invest into this and hopping for FX4 to change their stances, then I suggest not getting this and waiting for alternatives. Other wise I can suggest this mainly for the old William tables being accurate as hell and it feeling like a realistic pinball game despite some of the FX only tables adding crazy mechanics.

Dev lost the rights to most of the tables and has ignored bugs and give out empty promises of crossbuy to those who owned this on other systems.

AVOID. Get pinball FX3 instead.

The retro arch dev's killed some emulator devs like duckstation. For that alone, I cannot support this app.

Quite fun with friends. Like jack-box type games, only one player needs a copy for other's to play. You can stream or play local via phones since it's web based.

I only have 2 issues and ones really a nitpick.

One is that there is a high chance you will run into the same clips after some time. I played my copy and my friends copy for about total of 25-ish hours and we ran into the same "is corn grass" and "shake hands with danger" clip like 5-6 times. There's seems to be quite a bit of clips but after even 5-6 hours of playing, good chance you will start running into repeats. This seems to be known by the devs as they are slowly adding more clips since release but it does still happen once in a while. Aka, if your the type that gets burned out doing the same thing often, best to play this game in small bursts instead of one large go.

Two is that there is no way to add your own clips. Quite sure there is enough video editors out there who would of loved an in game add clip editor and able to add clips from their video collection / online. Hell even allowing to add one movie and it randomly selecting parts of it to rift as an full round would of been sick. But I understand that's a lot to ask for, specially for a normally priced game at $10.

Overall, fun to play, just suggest to play in small bursts instead of straight 4-8 hours.

One of the better 2D rougelike performer's out there. Fun and allows for many different types of play styles. Only issue I have with it is the multiplayer bugs.

If you have friends and play multiplayer, the drop rate for items sometimes is low. This makes it a bit harder to build as you can't share items and it becomes a point where most likely one friend will be behind. The other issue is if you die on multiplayer and your friends move on to the next stage, your UI stops working.

Unfortunately these bugs won't ever get fixed due to them working on Risk of Rain 2, which is objectively better then this but it's nice to go back to the classic once in a while. Also the bugs are only multiplayer so shouldn't have any issues if you want to pick this up and play solo. For that reason, I can't give this a no, but understand it's a "ok" yes.

It's one of the best balanced RTS's I ever seen that allows for unlimited units. It's not the best visual looking game but because of that, it should work on most computers. AI that feels correct to it's difficulty is very hard to pull off on most RTS games but this one does it. For $5 USD, it's worth every penny.

There's only one fraction though but if that bugs you, mods for this exist.

The 324 hours (at time of writing this) I have on this game is about equal to about 36 matches. One match, specially if you turn off the turn limit, can last about 6-10 hours if you play with real people.

It's honestly one of the better history theme turn based strategy games out there but personally don't feel it's worth the full price due to basically needing all the dlc to get the full experience. Best to get this on sale.

For those who wondering the difference between Civ 6 and Civ 5, there's 2 key non gameplay differences.

One, Civ 6 is currently using their own launcher from 2K and since they added it, it has caused performance issues, crashes, and overall ton of people can't even launch the game. For that reason alone, you will find Civ 5 has a larger player base as Civ 6 for almost $100 USD for all its DLC + base game, people can't play it.

Two, Civ 5 has a way larger mod community and player base. Part of the reason is because of the first reason but also because the games been out longer and is more easy to mod from what I understand. That and from what I seen, most of the Civ 6 mods that are downloaded are UI ones because the UI from Civ 6 apparently is very bad. Civ 5's isn't that good of a UI either on some fronts but ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, they some how made it worse.

For those wondering why I just review Civ 6 and downvote review it, I don't own it. I'm smart enough to see everyone else's issues and this should hopefully get some eyes and convince people to go for Civ 5 over Civ 6. It's just a better overall and addicting if you love turn based games.

Better then league of legends.

This is the real battlefront 2. Don't let EA distract you. To this day this game has a very large community and it is one of the best star war games out there. Don't let the age of graphics and look fool you.

For $10 USD it's worth.

Very good but also very short. Has little replay ability via challenges and it is very well done game play wise but is lacking a bit on the visual front. I get that's the point of the theme to make things red, white, and black but it feel plain after a few levels, specially since there isn't that many levels.

Good enough to recommend this game but suggest getting this on a sale.
