I do love this game but I am going to give it a negative review for a very simple reason. The devs. They have made promises time after time again to communicate and be active. Sure there is a DLC coming eventually however it feels like nothing more than a cash grab. The game has not received a balance update in many months (8 almost 9 from this post) with 0 communication.

Pros:

Game is good and Graphics are decent for its era

Cons:
Balance (If you want to play mulitplayer Id look elsewhere. The games balance is pretty lacking.)
Devs (The devs have broken promise after promise. I would not be suprised if support ends after next DLC)
Buggy: (Have played in multiple tourneys and have literally lost games due to bugs in game. For example shipments not coming through etc)

Overall it is free so you should give it a try if you want. However id point you elsewhere if you are looking for a place to invest long term in.

If I could I would give this game a neutral rating. If you're here to play campaign or custom games then there are fewer games that are a better buy. With that being said though the game has a problem if you wish to play online in quick search or even somewhat competitive in team modes.

The amount of Smurfs (strong players playing on new accounts to obtain wins against newer/less skilled players) is out of hand. Right now you can use a future called family sharing to create an unlimited number of accounts. It would not be an exaggeration to encounter a smurf 4 out of 5 games now a days. So if you're looking to play online in a somewhat competitive match up then you are in for a very steep learning curve. If you can overcome that however then the game has fantastic potential. As it is now with the direction of the game however I would not recommend to newer players.

Bought the Item. Does not appear in inventory or in game. Avoid at all costs.
