As Tolkien fan i buy game before release, and that is my mistake.
Positive: developer try use new models for Orcs, Elfs and Gollum to not be copy from Jacksons movie, same as in Rings of Power, nice to se something inovative.
negative: Gameplay, bad nawmesh, bad Gollum hitbox, poor AI, poor understanding objectives or find way where to go, to many pointless ingame animations, lot of bugs or glitches. If you run map area where is not the way may be found missing textures and die inside like out of map, cant kite orc using trow rock to distract like in older games with older game engines, he just move few steps like lazy programming. Bad marking what of envirentment Gollum may use for jump on or climb or crowl, so from experience you will die all time. Or Gollum hitbox slip, or wrong calculation where to jump/climb or bad camera view or move, bad game mechanics. Impossible to improve. Make me urge to create video how many times i died in this game, yes i play it to the end.

1) Numbers of players almost same as when game was released, numbers are similar stats for that is here : http://steamcharts.com/app/550

3) Modding... Without mods and option to modify game ( made Versus balanced like remove power from survivors, or give power to infected), invent super tank, evil modded witch, hulk tank, servers with more than 4 players, coop and buy system, pack system in realism or survival mod, and here i mean using Sourcemod, metamod, sourcebans, old school tools, invented long time, when gamemaps ruled, not fancy and shiny workshop, most easy for nabs, but feel like waiting bus or tram, when start updating mods.

4) modded community servers... Who really may play game what looks same as before 9 years? Real life happening in modded servers. People pay money to play there monthly.
