Good game with just a couple minor issues holding it back.

First off this game runs on a timer system when you're outside the player hub area which I personally wasn't a big fan of. Its suppose to give you that sense of tension during supply runs as you rush to get in, grab some random ♥♥♥♥ and get out. Each "day" lasts roughly 10 - 15 minutes which is actually plenty of time to fill your bags because the sandbox areas you go to are rather small and have only about 2 or 3 houses to loot. I just wish it would give you a little more time to soak in the sites is all. The watch that indicates the time of day is also a pain in the ass to read at first. It looks like a light green circle which then starts to turn dark green counter clockwise, Think of it like a pie chart I guess. Once the watch has become completely dark green the day is over and the bells ring in the town which causes a ♥♥♥♥ ton of zombies to come out forcing you to either run for your life or die. A simple digital watch displaying the time of day would have been a lot more intuitive.

One other nit pick I had was with the poison zombies. If this particular zombie bites you, grabs you or explodes to close to you it will of course, poison you. This then causes you to lose a portion of your maximum health ( not permanent ) and for your character to start randomly coughing over and over again ( which is insanely annoying ) until you find some medicine which at the early portions of the game can be extremely rare. You can craft medicine later on in the game but you have to invest more then half way into one of the crafting trees to acquire it. Unlocking this a lot sooner would have helped.

If you stick with it though this game becomes insanely fun and rewarding. The melee system is satisfying and you get a large variety of different weapon types to unlock such as knifes, cleavers, baseball bats, axes, crowbars and swords. There are also plenty of gun types such as pistols, rifles, shotguns and bows. All of which have their own unique mechanics to swing and reload giving the game a great sense of immersion, especially when you get the hang of it and start taking out enemies John Wick style.

Overall, good game and totally worth the full price but I wouldn't go into this as your first venture into VR because the game mechanics can take some getting use to.
