A great game for everyone who liked/loved Gothic - it's very similar in all the best ways.

TLDR: Communicate by ducking!
+ Gunplay and Equipment
+ lots of fun with friends
+ cool enemy and boss design
+ you can play solo or in a team of up to 3 ppl without obvious downsides to either experience
+- world design is decent, but very repetitive with similar-looking areas
+- you can't get everything in one playthrough, Dungeons/Quests can be available or not depending on RNG

- no in-game communication (push to talk currently not rly working)
- a few guns/equipment are clearly better than others and most people still play with starting wpn/gear (cause they're good)
- no real story/immersion

Recommendation:
Get this if you can play with friend(s), get it if it's on sale and you like similar games, get it if the above contra features are improved by now and are important to you.

Remnant: From the Ashes is a pretty decent game with decent replayability value and a lot of potential teamplay fun.
The gunplay is solid and fun, controls are steady, but there are not too many different guns and if you're lucky/unlucky you get access to the "GOD TIER" equipment early or not at all, depending on RNG.

The story and plot is prety slim at best, different dialogue options almost never result in different outcomes and you're never really immersed. 90 % of the time you just wanna shoot stuff, 10 % of the time you tend to your equipment and try to find good gear. Equipment is almost always best used in SETS, so there isn't a lot of customization you can do. You use gun X which means you use equipment Y and so on. All other options are pretty bad. I think they'll add more gear in the future to make other weapons viable too, but it has yet to happen.

Communication:
So far the only way people communicate is by DUCKING. Repeated ducking, permanent ducking....ducking could mean "I'm afk" or "yes we beat the boss!" or "thanks" ... While I do feel like this is a lot of fun cause you always end up understanding each other it is a pretty big joke to have a 40 € game in 2019 that doesn't have any decent features like that.

The world of Remnant is pretty well made with unique monster and boss design, cool equipment and an overall dystopian feel to it. However, lots of areas (the game is divded into multiple "planets" with their individual looks) look really similar so it can get bland and confusing at times. If they added a real decent story I think the nice world they made would be better utilized.

Overall I can recommend this game as mentioned above, in its current state I'd rate it 7,5/10, but the game definitely has potential to be much better than that.

An epic journey on an underwater planet. Harvest resources, build amazing underwater structures and go deeper and deeper into the abyss. Highly recommended game that offers a unique experience you definitely shouldn't miss!
