As someone who has spent a LOT of money, and time, on this game, I REALLY do not recommend anyone spend real world money on this game. The game is SUPPOSED to be "realistic", but that is a total joke. The bias is so ridiculous, and obvious, it's comical. Not really surprising coming from a Russian company for them to make the Russian tech tree severely unrealistically overpowered. When I first started playing, the bias wasn't nearly as obvious. Recently it's things like claiming they can't give Abrams tanks depleted uranium armor because they think only a couple prototypes got it. Yet, Russian tanks that never had thermal sights ALL get them. Russian tanks that never existed other than on paper, are implemented into the game with overpowered stats. Of course Russian and Chinese ERA is impenetrable, and totally ignores that many other nations have ERA packages, but don't get them. If you insist on playing this game, I highly recommend that you do NOT spend your hard earned money on it. Yes, the FTP model for the game is totally abhorrent as well (even after the revolt by players a couple months ago), but at least you won't be wasting your money like I did.

It's also not just tanks. Aircraft are horrid as well. The newly released Grippen of course got nerfed because it is too good compared to Russian and Chinese aircraft. Russia and China MUST dominate you see. Realism is totally ignored. The Su-25 can take a real pounding, sometimes taking multiple missiles before going down. But the A-10, which was designed to still fly with half a wing, half the rudder assembly gone, one engine missing, and has triple control redundancy, goes down if you even look in it's general direction. The A-10 is also nerfed in the flight characteristics. There is no way a mach+ jet is going to out turn an A-10.

Everyone must be nerfed to prove the imaginary superiority of Communist nations. If you do insist on playing this game, please don't waste your money on it. It'll be a pain, but if you give them more money, it just encourages them to continue what they're doing.

Pretty good game. Smoother running than some I've played. Some bugs here and there, but far fewer than most.
