don't let the sony nonsense cover up the fact the game has been out for 4 months and some sights are still misaligned and the spear still doesn't work correctly.

Unless your some kind of redditor dad who literally can't wait to blow his paycheck on a game to keep himself distracted while his wife and her 'friend' have fun in his bedroom, just wait for a major patch à la starfield or cyberpunk. Sure there is some good content and entertaining gameplay but the performance really bogs it down. To be quite fair this game doesn't feel much better than DD:DA(15 Jan, 2016) and definitely doesn't deserve to be $10 more expensive than other titles.

Do yourself a favor, wait for 6 months when the game is on sale for something reasonable and hopefully then capcom will have swallowed their pride and patched the game.

Overall rorr is an enjoyable action roguelike. For og players this will be a nice trip down memory lane with some nice upgrades to graphics, items, stages, characters and even an adjustable rule set. trials (challenges) have been added to the game and while they provide a nice distraction locking skills and items behind them was a massive L. The best ones are locked behind finishing every single trial which is about 50 of them, i don't see why i have to suffer through these just so i can play the characters i want to play and to try the new skills when i've practically finished the damn game. it's a nice addition for hardcore andys but for casuals who just want to chill it's a waste of effort and time.

if you want the normal experience i highly suggest finding a save file with the trial stuff unlocked so you can actually enjoy the risk of rain.

incase you didn't know this is a 5 year old japanese gacha game, with this knowledge in hand i present the following:

Arena: still broken
Guilds: still broken
Raids: still broken
Rewards: still broken
Gacha: increased cost for this version compared to jp
Greed: features locked behind VIP and battlepass

First, the devs made multiple 'errors' and have put the blame/punishment directly onto the playerbase when it comes to gacha currency and mileage system. They took no responsibility in the matter and have delayed fixing this by weeks for no reason other than to 1. screw over the community 2. prevent a landfall of negative comments at launch. These devs are exactly what non gacha players fear when it comes to game with gambling for units and let it be clear they are willing to abuse everything possible to screw over the playerbase for money. i 100% believe this game will be a pump and dump given everything we've seen in the past week. The solution? Put the players in gem debt. obviously this went over super well

Ignoring all of this the game PLAYS and FEELS like a 5 year old game with no improvements. Load times are way to frequent and slow for what we get, combat is incredibly slow even with autoplay set to maximum speed and the gameplay loop gets boring fast.

So what improvements did we get after 5 years.......?
language support, that's it. nothing else.

AND IT STILL HAS PREMIUM COSTS.

If your truly interested in playing this game play the JP version and use google translate. Stay away from this version and remember that the devs are Infini-Brain Inc. Anything these guys touch will end up being just as scummy in the future.

Action taimanin and taimanin rpg have nothing in common beside the universe they take place in, like the 100s of marvel games that exist. so the problems here only exist with taimanin rpg.

I went into this game blind and normally that would be okay but for this title that's the last thing you ever want to do. There are so many small things the game doesn't tell you (like your corpses having a timer) that you have to learn the hard way which ultimately adds to the grind...which the games ends up being.

Everything about this game is designed for a multiplayer experience and with the default settings the game is more of a chore than a game to go and enjoy. Had i known upfront this game was more about grinding for mats than actually doing interesting things i'd probably would of dodged it but here i am. The absolutely worst part of this game has to be the research mechanics and how much of it is based purely on RNG(which is 100%) this can leave you grinding for hours to hopefully luck sack the weapon, amulet or armor you need while you unlock stupid things like coloured windows and lamps. I cannot say this enough, you will most likely miss certain bonuses in your own castle because RNG will hold those floor types from you until you no longer need the bonuses they apply in the first place.

Combat at first seems really solid until you realise most abilities are lack luster so you end up sticking to the same 5 or so which is extremely disappointing. Also for a game revolving around melee weapons you end up only using ranged abilities because melee combat is incredibly punishing, Oh but you have a dash i see? enjoy that 9second cool down because why the hell not. The blood mechanic is neat but once again you run out of that blood insanely fast for how rare it is which once again adds to the grind.

V Rising is a pretty chore with a couple good things going for it (boss fights for one) but ultimately fails at being enjoyable in the end. I'm sure a heavily modded playthrough could fix most problems but the devs don't deserve that credit.

"Mostly positive" doesn't mean good, a lesson most of us will have to learn eventually.

This is by far the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ wrestling game ever designed, matches are predetermined so you have no chance of reguarly winning outside of getting someone ringed out which is lame. You can drop someone to 0% at the start of a match AND THEY WILL NEVER BE PINNED so for 10 minutes you just waste you time over and over. I don't even feel like i'm playing the game just simply following a sequence of events that has nothing to do with whatever i'm doing on the controller and it plain sucks. If i wanted play a game that plays itself i would of bought a playstation. Is the game funny? Hell yeah. But boy oh boy does the gameplay absolutely suck.

How can a game both enjoyable and dreadful at the same time? Welcome to valheim. The enjoyment comes from learning news things, exploring and building the viking base of your dreams. The dread comes from having to grind every single little thing making that mobile game seem generous in comparison. You want to run? Stamina. You want to mine? Stamina. You want to fight? Stamina. You want to swim? Stamina. You want to chop wood? Stamina. You want to farm? Stamina. You want to freaking build anything? Stamina. and it only gets worse the further on you go into the game. Everything ends up feeling like a time sink designed for the sole purpose of dragging the game out and not benefiting the game at all. Is there entertainment to be had? Sure. but that's such a low bar your better off finding any empty bottle to kick around homeless people and seeing what happens.
