An entertaining digital board game.
Light-hearted and simple to understand and play.

A short, simple text adventure where you explore the history of a decaying city, caught in the midst of a revolution. You'll see the same names appear over and over, as you read through their memories.

Recommended because the writing is superb, it'll only take up about 20 minutes of your time and it's free.

As a game,this fails. As a statement and thought-provoking exercise,it succeeds.

The problem with this as a game is that it requires you to bump your way around walls,fences etc. After a while this becomes incredibly frustrating, due to the slow pace of the game (mainly because the main character moves at a ponderous rate).
That said, it has beautiful visuals. The way the world paints itself as you move along and listen to passing fauna is well-done. The sounds of the game, from the trickle of water to the clucking of chickens goes a long way to painting the world as a real place. The developer has clearly put alot of work into the world, and it shows.

I cannot honestly recommend this as a game at £9.99, but if it's on a sale or you wish to support these evocative indie games, go for it.

Vector-based art software that offers an interesting modular component in creating your brushes. Still apparently in early access but is a decent enough program to stand on it's own.

Solid raster art program. Still had that annoying registry bug that carried over from the previous version.

Life is Strange has started off with a vibrant setting and compelling characters,not to mention the utterly gorgeous soundtrack. If every episode is as strong as episode 1, than expect this to be one of the games of the year.

A wonderful remake of the original Dota. This is the "MOBA" genre at it's best and most frustrating.As long as you can withstand the somewhat angry community when you go 0/16/1 you'll have a lot of fun.
