An enjoyable twist on the Heroes of Might & Magic formula.
Gorgeous art and a story that won't blow you away but does just enough right.

Three asymmetric factions - there are a few balancing issues still needing to be addressed but no regrets on purchasing!

A respectable soft-restart to Dragon Age. Writing is a bit uneven at the start, but slowly comes together into a story that has bite.
The gameplay feels smoother than Inqusitions (though cRPG fans will still miss out on Origins tactical possibilities), the cast as usual is a delightful group of eccentrics, and the stylised art works (apart from the Quanari, who I still think are too smoothed over).

An excellent expansion - currently only contains 2 of the Spirits, but well worth the money once they're all added in.

A charming game with loads of character. There's some UI and pacing elements that could be polished with, but for the price I think the developers have done great!

A bad RTS, but a great demo of the Resequence Engine.

I really can't recommend this as an RTS, it just suffers from too many problems. Lack of visual clarity, bad pathfinding, dull textures, mediocre core gameplay...

Which is a real shame, as the central time-travel mechanic is amazing and almost single-handedly makes up for the rest of the game.

Considering the multiplayer community is now dead, I would only recommend picking this up if you have friends to mess around with or a masochistic longing for the campaign mode (which suffers pacing problems).

Unlike alot of the recent reviews I've seen, I'm going to wholeheartedly recommend Civ 6.

It introduces a few massive changes to the classic formula, namely Districts and Eurekas. Thanks to these the game now gives you a sense of direction, an in-game suggestion as to what you should be prioritising at any one time. This makes Civ 6 a far more pleasent experience for new players than previous titles.

The criticisms of AI is valid, as with previous titles the AI swivels between mediocre competency to absolute idiocy. People who are expecting AI on the level of the GalCiv series are going to be disappointed.

The game, despite what people say, is fleshed out and comes with more content than Civ 5 did on release day. It's not as good as Civ 4 or Civ 5 right now, but considering those games have multiple expansions and years of patches, that's not saying much.
