I have to admit, I am biased. I love sci-fi, I love action horrors... And Dead Space is an awesome blend of those. I don't really play many horror games per se... But being put to a metal container in the vast depths of space without any chance of immediate escape just has some allure. This game is a horrifying, gory, repelling ugly mess that will just force you to love and hate it at the same time because of all the scares and great moments of satisfaction, like when you clean a room full of necros. It's the only horror game (the first installment and its successors) that has ever compelled me to finish it and suffer through all its gritty atmospheric length. Dead Space is my most favourite horror game.
