Assassin's Creed is one of my favorite franchises and Ubisoft is one of my favorite publishers. Although Ubisoft gets a ton of criticism (some of it deserved), they do know how to make great games. For whatever my opinion is worth, they have an impressive lineup of franchises. While Assassin's Creed Mirage isn't AC II, AC Brotherhood, AC IV Black Flag, AC Syndicate, AC Revelations, AC Origins, AC Shadows (my bad... this one isn't out yet)....

Wait, what was I saying?

Oh yeah, Mirage isn't those, but it is very worthy of a playthrough. I love the setting and the gameplay is still similar to previous entries at its foundation. Leaps of Faith never get boring and synchronizing eagle perches is still one of the prettiest sights in the history of gaming.

I once dated a girl that looked like a "Clicker." She walked like one and talked like one. Damn I miss her...

I seldom do game reviews, but this is one of those games that is definitely worthy. I've managed five play-throughs from PS3 to PC. It is one of those games that I always go to when I'm feeling somewhat nostalgic. Everything from the atmosphere, gameplay and story encompasses a complete package. You will experience a wide range of emotions.

Additionally, the multiplayer aspect of the game (not found in Part 1, but... Part 0?) was great fun. So much so, that I somehow managed to pour in a couple hundred hours into it, albeit not being a huge fan of multiplayer. And who can forget Ellie's jokes? They never get old. Admittedly, this is the source of most of my material.

So do yourself a favor and give this a playthrough.

Such a lazy port. No Ray-Tracing, no DLSS, and no Denuvo. No BUY!!!

I kid, I kid. I loved these games on 3DS and it feels pretty much the same with some improvements. I hope it sells well enough for Atlus to bring the rest of them to Steam, particularly Etrian Odyssey IV, which might have the best soundtrack of any game I've played...

FOR ME TO POOP ON.

It's between EO IV and FF XIII.

Thank you Kratos and Sony for teaching me how to be a better father in just one afternoon than I've known in my whole life. After years of calling my son by his name, I've started calling him "Boy" and my life is forever changed. Tomorrow I will be procuring a bow and arrow for him and see where this thing leads.

Still amazing after the fourth time. Hurry up and bring Ragnarok to PC, Sony.

I found this game so charming and beautiful that I purchased it twice (PlayStation 5 & Steam). It implements a mechanic where you run and shoot targets and you pick up speed as you hit consecutive targets. The main objective is to cleanse the land of evil. My only regret is that the game is relatively short. It also gets a tad repetitive, but because the game is short, you don't really notice. If you are looking for an easy and relaxing game, "look no further fella, you found him."

This is without question one of my favorite games, let alone Final Fantasy games. I know all the criticisms about the game, and yet, I love almost everything about it. Even though it's a considerably linear game, I don't mind that much. The scenery and the music more than make up for it. The music in this game could very well be my favorite music in all of gaming, and I've played a lot of games. Although, the combat might seem simplistic, it is what you make it. (Hint: don't just use "Auto Battle"). I've previously played this game on PS3 (twice), Xbox 360 (once), Xbox One X (Once), and now I'm trying it on PC. I never get tired of it and whenever I get that urge for nostalgia, this is my go-to game. This and Lost Odyssey.

Please give this game a shot and don't be deterred by all the negative comments. It is not a perfect game by far, but it is damned sure worth at least a play-through, and not deserving of all the negativity.
