A lot of fun, great amount of content for the pricetag, and a good variety of weapons and perks to experiment with. As a bonus it's actively being worked on and more content is coming!

This is probably my favourite game in the genre.

The prospect mission system is great and gives you a good variety of goals and things to do in game. The talents are impactful and worth considering your options. The space station loadout system is a nice persistent progression system that spans characters. And best of all the first 60 mins are the best part of these types of games anyways and that's where you get to spend most of your time. If you want to build your megabase there's an outpost mode just for that. Trying to fight a polar bear should be idiotic and in this game it is, sneaking around them in the snow and waiting for them to wander out of your path can be an intense experience.

For those worried about the possibility of losing a character permanently, it's rare and it's not that bad. Only two main ways are to log off for days after starting a prospect and forgetting you were there, or doing a hardcore prospect solo. You keep you prospect progress, your loadout unlocks items & currencies. Starting again at level 0 when you have the loadout tools is fine.

Gripes of mine are few. Most talents are garbage tier, I've got it figured that I need 39 talents regardless of character, and that leaves me 9 to spend freely on less important stuff. Running distances are times are too high in several prospects. Tier 4 buildables are abhorrently expensive and never worth doing anything with unless required for the prospect completion, even if all costs for it were halved I'd still never use any of it, don't waste your blueprint points here.

It killed my C drive twice within a week. "Inaccessible Boot Device" infinite restart loop.

The backup state it created? Didn't work.
Windows recovery options? None of them worked.
Windows builtin recovery and windows reinstall? Tried and didn't fix the inaccessible boot device.
USB windows boot? This was the only thing that got me past it. Required a full deletion of partitions on the drive where windows was with a clean install that also lost my windows key.

Thanks...never again. Doubt I can get a refund on the Pro version but requesting it regardless.

If you liked Dyson Sphere, Factorio, Satisfactory, etc but wished it had combat or a better focus on it then this is the game for you.

Fun with a friend, a bit meh solo. Persistent character growth is nice.

Not true, straight up a lie. Stealthing a match is a lie since it doesn't work. Even if there have been zero alerts and ai is 100% unaware, the moment someone touches the chest it's full alarm and awareness. No such thing as being a proper successful theif, turns out Robin and his merry band are incompetent.

Assuming they keep working on it, which the devs do have a track record of...yes.

An enjoyable automation puzzle sandbox game. Not for everyone but if you like the type of game you'll enjoy it. If you're on the fence give some of the youtubers a visit, for instance Skye Storm's videos told me exactly what I was in for and I'm enjoying it.

Main complaints I have are no music ingame (only in main menu oddly enough), and it's a bit overpriced feeling especially when compared to other automation games such as satisfactory or factorio.

Dark Souls with guns. Challenging and fun co-op experience.
