Promised co-op. Then canceled it. Regret.

Completely abanoned pile of garbage.

It's been a bit of a rollercoaster.

At first I loved the game. Then I got really upset at certain things the game did. Then I adapted and now I love the game again.

It was enough of a turnaround that I even wrote my first stead community guide in hopes of helping others learn how to better control the colonists.

This game is bad. Really bad. I play a lot of random kind of bad looking games with a friend, but this one is more memorable in just how bad it was. It's 2018 now, we played this in 2011. Here's a typical conversation that occurs a couple times a year:

"I know what we can play this weekend!"
"?"
"3079!!!!"
"NO."
"Oh come on, it wasn't that bad"
"♥♥♥♥ you it wasn't"
*Friend has gone offline*

50 hours in and going strong. This is an awesome game with tons of replayability.

I can't recommend this. There's bad issues that have been around since initial EA release and they've only gotten worse. Singleplayer works okay when it wants to, but omg multiplayer is broken.

1) Multiplayer = Death of fun. It'll stealth desync without telling you and your ships that have worked well and great for xxx amount of time will start to behave wierdly and spontaneously explode for no apparent reason.

2) Klang will make himself known with a growing amount of racket and then spontaneously explode anything with even a little bit of complexity/moving parts. Far worse in MP.

3) Tires are a prime example of things that just don't work as expected/spontaneously explode (seeing a pattern here yet?). Check the forums, people keep asking for advice on making a wheeled vehicle and the most common and straightforward answer is "Dont, just fly."


TL;DR: My stuff has exploded too often for no good reason, it's not fun anymore.

Not good

Lame reskin ripoff of other idle games. Also broken and upgrades don't work, experienced a roll back while ingame within the first minute.

Short and a bunch of depressing npcs. Meh. Skip it.

A beautiful combination of Dungeon Keeper and SimAnt. Two games I loved way back when, and this marriage of them is excellent.
