Gonna write my first steam review ever since i am quite mad that i bought the full game instantly as I wanted to support this telltale game like approach of episode, story heavy gameplay. I got quickly fed up with this game because of several technical difficulties and crashes and watched the rest of the episode on a twitch stream. My result is: Do not expect a telltale game, because it is not. While telltale had the problem of giving you decisions that do not matter for the story, which will be great nonehteless, this game has the problem that your deisions are more than useless. With the time rewind gimmick, which does not fit into the genre at all, you take pretty much all the fun out of making decisions under pressure, since you can just rewind and try again an infinite amount of time. It does not matter what you will do- just try again. Boring. Another big problem are the horrendous dialogues - nowhere near the telltale game level and simply infuriating at times. My favorite was "I am dreaming, but I am not asleep" or something even more ridiculous - really dont want to double check it, since the game sucked. Everyone behaves like an idiot, teachers, who are impressed if you quote John Lennon and reply, that you are "on fire". Wannabe ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ art that would insult any true artist in the last century on every corner, paired with teenage idiocy drama that would make the worst teenie movie in existence look oscar worthy in comparison.
Additionally weird sound bugs that make the audio laggy unless you play in the lowest resolution. Weird political views (Vaccine doubters, feminist propaganda, anti-men-gun views of radical ingame characters) and logical fallacies (private school but the bathrooms look like some russian prison interior). Unfortunately I had to save the blue haired idiot in the first scene, because I wanted her to die really bad. All in all a horrible game with bad dialogues, childishly one-dimensional characters, bad new gameplay ideas (time rewind) that make the very concept of the genre obsolete and crashes and audio bugs everywhere. Edit: Also visual and exture bugs. Not recommended and 0/10.
