I've played 3/5 of the souls games, namely missing Demon Souls and Bloodbourne.

The pacing of this game is unlike the others, probably still falling under Bloodbourne for speed. Not that it's a bad thing. The pacing for the weapons and abilities in this game feels very intuitive. Having played this, then gone back to DaS2.. (shudder) the pace feels so good in 3.

Honestly, if you haven't played a Souls game, I'd still recommend Dark Souls first, but if you've known the series - DO NOT MISS THIS GAME.

Still waiting to see a DLC with substance however, as the Ashes DLC felt very short and easy, even on NG+.
