It feels like a worse Slay the Spire but made with models bought from the unity store
There's no need for it to be free roam in the "dungeons", it just feels janky. Card games are usually laid back, where you only use your computer mouse. Why the hell do i have to use my damn keyboard as well? The characters are just copies of what you've already seen in other games but worse. The story & world feels forced in a weird way, like a story that has been done hundreds of times before. Is the setting supposed to be taken seriously or as a joke? Is the world real or not? The decks go from feeling under powered to over powered, it's rarely in-between. The torch system they've implemented (kind of like Darkest Dungeon but worse) is just straight up annoying. I played through multiple bosses but whenever i won (which was every time, strangely enough) I didn't feel like as if it was due to my own efforts. It just felt like straight up luck.
It feels like it's their first published game. It's unpolished, they don't expand on parts they could to make the game better & other parts of the game just feels unfinished. I was really excited for this game so it's sad that i disliked it this much.

The game is great & the developers do a great job! Sony's apology to the drama though was "We're still learning what is best for PC players." Yeah, they totally did it because they thought it was the best for us. Not at all just to milk us for information to sell to others. This review stays negative for a bit just to remind them, myself & others of what they did.

Nah man. This ain't it. The game feels unfinished in a way i can't describe. It feels like there should be more options to pick from story wise, more people to get to know, more locations to explore. It's like they made this whole map but then was only able to fill half of it due to a deadline. Nothing felt original & the game play was so bad i had to install mods to make it enjoyable. There's no fun in shooting a guy 10 times in the head & he still doesn't die. Yes, the city does feel alive at some points but it just feels so soulless. I kept playing hoping it would change but it just feels like another AAA title where crunch was the norm & therefore nothing was made with passion. It just kept me occupied but I rarely enjoyed myself.
I've heard the expansion is good but i just don't wanna spend any more money on this...

A great team based shooter game where you can't just CoD rush in & hope things'll work out.
There ain't no slide canceling your way out of a bad situation. Work with your team & change your pace & plans accordingly. The slower pace it has works really well in comparison to games like Battlefield 1 where everyone has automatic weapons, 5 hand grenades + a pocket rocket launcher. The close quarter trench fighting makes you go through the 7 stages of grief every single time you miss your opponent and have to wait until you've chambered a new round. The way the guns work is crisp & it's incredibly satisfying to get that classic 1 shot, 1 kill on someone who just popped their head up 100 meters away. Apparently they have problems with filling servers, something I didn't experience since I've only played during the free to play weekend where at least 10-15 servers were full at all times.

The Metro trilogy is the best game series I've ever played.

So far I've probably replayed them all about 5 times. The atmosphere, game play & story is amazing & there's great replay ability for both Last Light & its sequel Exodus. Playing on higher difficulty actually makes the game more challenging in a fun way & not just into a frustrating mess where all enemies are turned into bullet sponges. Instead the enemies deal more damage & use better tactics.
If you've read the books, this game series does a great portrayal of them.
Solid 9/10

It's a great DLC but the asking price for it is horrendous

Understand why people are hating on this game

First they sold us the first game which was great & you only had to pay for the base game. You could earn skins the free way (which was easy) or buy boxes with real cash if you wanted. Both teams consisted of 6 people & it was up to you how many DPS, healers & tanks you wanted. Then they teased Overwatch 2 where they promised us the world. Everything from the first game but better. More maps, more heroes, better graphics & even a new campaign.

What they instead gave us was a free to play with micro transactions FILLED to the brim. You wanna earn heroes? Yeah play a minimum of 30 hours if you're lucky. Want new skins? Buy the season pass or buy them directly with cash. Want them for free? Grind you ass off for days! Oh yeah & that campaign we were promised? Yeah, that got scrapped. Then they finally decided to deliver the campaign, like they promised, after months of backlash.

What changed from Overwatch 1 to Overwatch 2?
It's "free", it's more of a grind, there's more micro transactions & they lowered the team count from 6 to 5 to make it more stream lined for E Sports. The roles are already decided: 1 tank, 2 supports & 2 DPS.

TL;DR:
Blizzard treats their player base like dumb cash cows.
Just play Valorant, Counter Strike or Team Fortress 2 instead.

If you're like me you'll quickly realize the game isn't scary at all.
First two games are but after that you'll see that the random jump scares do nothing & they repeat A LOT. Most of the ghosts don't really do anything & the ones that do only activates every now and then. So there is no real reason to be scared, because there ain't nothing there if the ghost ain't actively chasing you. If you actually do get killed by the ghost, which only has one code "Follow the closest person until you either kill them or the time runs out" It's the same jump scare (if you can even call it that) no matter what ghost kills you. Then there's the "game play" of you just walking around looking for a ghost signal, placing every item down on the ground or look at the walls etc. Then prepare to start begging the ghost to "BLOODY DRAW ON THE CANVAS, PLEASE!!", because the ghost might just be a douche & only decide to do it after the 36th time. The funniest thing about the game is looking at your friends sprinting backwards in circles trying to make you laugh because the game play in itself is dull.
Would recommend Phasmophobia or Labyrinthine instead.
