UPDATE: I can no longer recommend buying this game. S*ny is starting to enforce having a PSN-Account to continue playing. So unless you want your personal info leaked and want to support shady business practices, do NOT spend money on this. It saddens me to have to change my recommendation, for I really like the game it self and Arrowhead Studios. It's truly unfortunate that they seem to have made a bargain with the devil(metaphorically speaking).

UPDATE 2: I'm now changing back my review to a positive one, since it now looks like S*ny reversed their decision.

So much more fun and addictive then I even imagined. First try, Normal = dead after 73 islands. 2nd, Normal = dead after 64 islands. 3rd, Easy = Full run. Now @ around island 30 on Hard, but this time I have "Allow restart" -box ticked. I hope for an expansion in the future with co-op, maybe a campaign as the viking horde and Versus.
My only warning is, hours stack up real quick and I find my self leaning too close to the screen, like I'm a bit too immersed in the fights. Well worth the soar neck, though!

This is what I hoped for when thinking about a possible SWAT 5. Good looks, great feeling and lot of love from the developers.

The only thing I miss is longer barrels on some weapons. Alot of weapons are too similar for me but that is just a matter of taste.

Sofar:

- Play time(minus intro cut scene): 34 sec before I quit.

- Gfx: Incredible, absolutly beautiful. Long time since I was this impressed by a game.

- Sounds: Really get's you in to the old school sci-fi atmosphere.

- Console-Port-Feeling: At first sight of the console button, I felt disapointed until I hit the keyboard I quckly changed my mind. I was too quick to judge. It seams to be a healthy combo, not limiting, with more choice wich works well so far.

- Scary? No, what are you talking about...? I want to play this with a friend... in daylight... because... because I want to!! I don't get scared by a computer game!! Now go away! or please stay and keep me company untill dawn :'( /sarcasm_off

No seriously, I need to lower my heart rate with another game for a while... xD
