I'm sorry guys. I bought this because I have no self-control and no self-respect.

Take away the 40k theme what you're left with is a terrible 4X game. The base building / empire management as generic as it gets and devoid of any depth or strategy. OK fine, if you're going to focus on the combat, then at least try and do it well. NOPE. The combat animations are all so boring and generic. They didn't even bother with voice acting and all units play the generic beep beep sounds.

Unless you're a huge 40k fan, then stay away.

You're a beta tester... who paid money for that privilege...only for them to release an Alt-tab fix after 6 weeks....

Do you hate yourself? If so, buy this game.

Special infected are bullet sponges with mostly unavoidable attacks. If you want to be grabbed by Tallboys accelerating at the speed of light, or 360 no-scoped by Hockers, then buy this game.

On a serious note, the devs are masochists who have no idea on how to make a challenging yet balanced game. Throwing bullet sponges at the players every 20 seconds is not the way to go.

Makes a game called Three Kingdoms: Total War, but then abandon the game before the Three Kingdoms scenario even make it into the game.

By analogue, it would be like a game named Attila Total war, but then the game doesn't even have Attila as a playable faction.

I think I got some value out of this game.

Rather than make the new factions balanced with strengths and weaknesses, CA decided make them all power houses. Each one of the new faction is significantly better than most other factions in game. Clearly CA wanted to make them appealing, but this shouldn't come at the expense of balance.

Down-voted for the power creep.
