What I expected Battlefailed 2042 to be except it's free to play, actually fun and doesn't have any super greedy developers touching it and f*cking it up along the way. Yes I've seen talks about caps, but it doesn't bother me.

If your entire review is about FEARING the KERNEL LEVEL Anti-Cheat, you're probably a PART of THE CHEATING COMMUNITY and SHOULDN'T even post a review in the first place. Any review about the Kernel Level Anticheat is irrelevant. NSA, GCHQ and multiple spy agencies around the world has a direct backdoor access to your Windows PC, if you fear China or whatever.. You've been told by your government that they are the enemy and that you should fear them and what not, but the real enemy is already living rent free in your heads and you call them your "protectors". China is no more bad than the US, UK or whatever other western ally you cling to like a scared rat.. Battlefailed 2042, Call of Duty, Counter-Strike 2, PUBG.. I can name multiple other games on the Steam Store that has a KERNEL LEVEL Anti-Cheat and I don't see people whine on their review pages about it. Just shut up and stop whinging about it, it's getting quite annoying seeing review bombs about irrelevant crap that has nothing to do with the quality of a game. We've reached a point where KERNEL LEVEL is the only solution to cheaters, and even still that is not enough as we see with the MILLIONS of BANNED players every year in Call of Duty, PUBG and other games.

This game has what I did NOT expect from a free game, massive battles, LOTS of players on the same match and huge customization of weapons, a testing range for said weapons and multiple gamemodes.. It's really strange how game development in the past 10-15 years has reached a point where a Free-To-Play game reaches up to a expected quality standpoint in line with PAID games and does even better than most of the paid competitors.

Battlefailed 2042 has nowhere near this level of enjoyment in it, and I was quite hyped at the Battlefailed 2042 trailer like so many others, and that game obviously didn't deliver and I haven't until now found a game close to expectations of Battlefailed 2042 but here we are and Delta Force is a worthy champion. I know Delta Force has an in-game store for cosmetics and a Battlepass, but this is the norm in Free-To-Play games so this shouldn't come as a surprise.. It's also the norm in paid games like Call of Duty, Battlefailed 2042 and others.. But when you pay for a skin in Delta Force, it doesn't feel like you're buying a DLC or expansion pack like it does when you pay for cosmetics in a game that is not Free-To-Play.

As for performance, I am getting a stable 165 FPS, 1% lows at around 110 FPS, Ultra Settings, 1920x1080, DLSS Quality which I did not expect with my now 5 years old RTX 2060 Super and my even older i7 8700K overclocked to 4.7GHz, but I do see the recommended requirements are lower than that but still, not at all what I was expecting as my PC lags behind these days in multiple games and usually doesn't perform this well in DX12 titles. Good optimizations for sure so that is a big plus for me. I've played multiple other FPS shooters and when the FPS is horrible at higher settings, it's less enjoyable for me. I don't want to play a game at potato level graphics to reach playable frames with my 165Hz monitor.

There's always room for improvements, and IF Delta Force developers continues on this path, they'll continue to do good. The industry as a whole for FPS titles can learn something from here.
