Are you tired of playing One Piece fighter games and want to play as your favorite One Piece character while battling hordes of enemies? Then choose this game. Per map you play you have thousands of enemies waiting for you, and sometimes some bigger dudes which want to stop you.

There are 3 different modes: Story mode, "Free log", and "Dream log"
In Story mode you can play selected episodes of the one piece timeline, up until the famous dress rosa arc. There are different additional goals for each episode which challenge you and add replay value.

In free log you basicly play the same story missions, but you can freely choose from all unlocked characters. Want to help usopp beating captain kuro while playing smoker? Do you want to fight at marinefort with enel? This is the mode which allows that.

the dream log has a lot of ilands with different themes and missions. You pick your character, travel to an island and choose, which party you want to support. There are also random enemies with bountys, traveling around the see and which you can hunt.

You can level your character and additionaly increase his strength with coins from beaten opponents or characters which helped you. At some situations its wiser to repeat a mission to farm some coins and boost your power instead of trying to beat the next mission for the 100th time.

If you are familar with "warriors" games, then you get what you expect. The only small downside for me is the locked levelcap at 50, which can be increased to 100 later on. But you are unable to level the characters beyond 50 with berries.
Besides that I had a lot of fun playing this game so far. I still haven't unlocked everything so I jump back every now and then to sail accross the see and fight tough enemies.

At a last note: I highly recommend using a controler.

The player can choose one of 6 avaible classes to play. Each class offers a set of weapons, which can be exchanged on the battlefield. This enables an easy entry to the game but some weapons like the Rifleman are harder to play. I like this class because it offers a weapon type which has a high damage output like a sniper rifle but is still playable with a crosshair.

After all those hours and years I still come back every now and then to play it again. I can recommend it to player who like a WW2 shooter setting and are familar with Source Engine Games.
