The game kept crashing about 10 min into the game. When I dove off the cliff at the beginning of the game. I don't have an Nvidia video card. I have a Radeon RX 590. I was getting really good FPS when I ran the stress test that comes with the game. The fix for me was to download Nvidia PhysX 9.19.0218 form FileHippo web-sight and install it. It is free-ware. As for the game, The graphics and the gameplay are great, After the fix. It's one of my favorite games, despite being a button masher when in combat. It's much more fun than Shadow of Mordor.

The only 2 adult relationships , after 42 hours of play, are homosexual. And you can't just skip the audio.
I had to mute it . The game play would get 6/10, but for degenerate agenda being in your face all the time is sickening. Like on TV. I play games to escape the BS on TV and have fun, not to preached to with someones degenerate ideology.
According to the steam achievements only 8% get this far into this game. I wonder why. I'm big on grinding up a character. It gets boring and starts to feel like work, after the first 10 hours. This should be on the under $10 rack.

OVER Representation. At least 1/3 of the characters are " Non Binary ", meaning Not male or female. And of course ALL of the males and females are bisexual. This is a simplistic kingdom building game with low end graphics. ( not worth $10 ) even if you don't care about it's degenerate message. It pushes " The Message " way too hard. It is full of degenerate sexual and social, deconstructive propaganda. It even adds confusion to the very meaning of words. For Example.... I picked a male character as leader. The game gave HIM the title of MOTHER, to demasculate him. No I couldn't manually his title, nor could I change the names of any of the characters. The characters don't have children. ( pushing the depopulation agenda ) The way you recruit followers is by waiting for characters to wonder onto the map ( from some sjw marxist college campus ) and talking to them into joining your commune, or taking them hostage until, Stockholm syndrome kicks in. Then the hostages become slaves and surfs, until they conform to the degenerate way of thinking. To beat the game, all you have to do is, talk enough characters into joining your commune. You can easily do this by not say anything that disagrees with them, ( or anyone in listening distance ) including minuscule things like if you like potatoes or not. ( Training you to Not have any differing opinion ).

I love city or kingdom building games. I bought this game because of YouTube gamer, kathrineofsky was playing it. She made it look like fun. She didn't mention the degenerate messaging. I tried to ignore it until the game made me sick.

No voices, just a lot or reading. Poor graphics. Poor controls. Leftist indoctrination.

There is no single player mode to this game. It crashes whenever I try to launch my own server. It uses the firewall excuse. When I go on other servers, I start with no tools, not even a rock. I can't even gather sticks. WTF. I got this in a bundle with Forest Village. So if I ask for a refund I loose the other game.

This is an Anno game at its heart. It plays like every other Anno games I played before. Like most city building games sucess depends on placing different shapes into the smallest space as efficiently as you can. It really needs a much better tutorial. I got confused too many times on how to complete quests. I'd give graphics a 6/10. I had to click on ships to tell if they were mine. There are mission breaking quests. In the 5th mission if you don't get ships to a sultan ( the enemy ) quick enough, you don't get a failed mission notification. You just can't complete a required delivery quest of some ink and paper, Unless I'm confused once again. That's where I gave up on the RE-EDUCATION campaign. A lot of things don't make sense, Like pigs only making producing skins and not pork, cows producing beef and not skins. Needing to be in good standing with enemy factions, to make it through a campaign.

The main thing that broke this game for me was the political correctness and the revisionist history. They made the crusaders the bad guys and the muslims into persecuted victims. During the 4th mission they have the crusaders kidnapping children and you need the help from a sultan to get them back. Around the 5th mission they want your character to commit treason, in favor of the muslims, which they keep referring to as oriental . Oriental NOW seems to mean the islamic middle eastern like Persia and NOT far eastern like Japan and China ANYMORE. The point of political correctness in to confuse, deceive and manipulate people through purposely hiding reality. If you are going to base a game on history don't try to sell me your revisionist history and make western civilization into the bad guys. "The Crusades" were called for by the pope because the muslims invaded around 1/3 of Catholic Europe. The muslims were slaughtering and enslaving Europeans, like it was their right and holy duty.

Stop pushing political BS into video games. It is highly offensive, and it sucks the fun out of the game.

I have over games 400 on Steam. About 10 are don't even launch.

This Is the first game I'm asking for my money back.

5-21-2020 Broken Game. At launch the screen goes black. Then my monitor says there is no video input. I tried disabling all the settings. I still get the same crash. I have to rest my PC to get video back.

I downloaded it because I thought it was free. Tried to play, Nope you have to buy game modes to play. It wasn't even a demo.

This is a $5 game. It's playable, not a lot of bugs. I had a bug with the mouse cursor not being visible even in borderless window mode. I switched modes and the cursor finally showed up. The game play is weak. The graphics are low end and out dated. There are much better city building games under $10. It's not worth the current price, so I have to give it a NO.

I bought this game on sale. I like city building games, as a rule.
This game should be less $10. It is definitely not worth the $30 they are asking.
I have to give this game a thumbs down, Even on sale.

The pro's:

The tutorial is very good. It steps you along very nicely with audio instructions.

The NPC voices are good.

The graphics are cartoonist but adequate and didn't tax my PC with no loss of frame rate.

The cons:

The game locks up when the memory usage gets over 2.4 gig. This happens after playing a few hours. This happened to me half way through the game twice, When I tried to give a 2nd task in the commune window.

The game saves are very buggy. When I tried to reload the map I was playing, It will only reload from one
time point in the game. Gamesave 1 and gamesave 30 was the same point in time in the game.
After the game locked up. The most important purpose of a gamesave is for when a game locks up.

There are only 6 different maps.

There is no SLOW time speed setting, like in most building games. There is a fast NORMAL speed. There is a very fast, FAST speed. And there is PAUSE.

You can NOT give most ORDERS in PAUSE, like when managing house upgrades in the house management window.
So the game easily gets ahead of you. While I was upgrading a block of houses, as fast as I could, 2 blocks of houses
were completely destroyed by the time I came out of the window. I have no idea what happened. They were fine,
I came back to the map and they were just gone.

Easy difficulty setting is equal to most Middle difficulty settings in other similar games. I play games for FUN, on a setting that is not frustrating to beat, especially until I figure out the mechanics of the game. Some people like a game to
be as difficult as possible. Difficulty settings should accommodate both ends of the spectrum and the middle.

It is not clear what tasks you have to complete to move on to the next level of construction.

Building placement Stinks. I didn't figure out how to rotate the map, or the buildings,
If you actually can in this game. I could only rotate the entrance to the yard, not the footprint of the building.

Yards auto expand too much and won't let you pull them back to a minimum space.
Sometimes they will and sometimes it is impossible.

You can only build a maximum of 5 of each kind of house.

These things KILL the efficient use of space, which is KEY STRATEGY in building games.

The mechanics of the game are the real challenge of the game, Not figuring out the best strategy to beat your rivals.
Beating your rivals is easy. Hint Hint, just like in real life, send in the commie's.

I have to give this game a thumbs down. Even on sale.

Try Caesar III it's cheap because it is over 10 years old and the graphics are a bit dated,
but the gameplay is excellent, and it beats this game hands down.
