While it's a beautiful game I think it suffers a lot from a lack of variety throughout the game.

I also can't help but feel that the movement feels incredible slow most of the time. For me it would have helped if maybe the normal movement speed was at least double of what it was normally and that the boosts doesn't make you nearly fast enough. I don't think it is a particular interesting movement system either, the shooting of boosts is auto-aim so it doesn't add that much compared to if you didn't have to shoot things to move faster.

Nice small stealth game

Enjoyable.

Seems to be a fan game though, so be warned, there are probably some background context that you wont get.

The platforming is fine though not amazing.
I personally think the story is annoying and in the way.

I would recommend this game if you like boss fights.

The only thing I find quite annoying is the bullet hell segments. It can be really hard to tell if you will get hit when the viewpoint is angled.

It's an okay game, but I feel like there are a lot of elements which prevents it from being a great game, or even a great crash game.

From a gameplay point the levels are very different from the original trilogy, they are much longer, and they tend to have the same themes several levels in a row making me feel like some of them seriously outstayed their welcome.
Other times they change theme and gameplay very quickly throughout the level making it hard for me to recall what exactly visually was going on in some of the levels...
I somewhat prefer how it was done in the older games with shorter levels with different themes/ types of challenges which would appear again in a later level (hopefully not right after each other).

Looking at the story/characters I think no character got into this game without having their character butchered... All interactions felt really off.


Kinda fun that both "crash bandicoot 4" games involves the introduction of 4 new powerful masks ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

In the end I really didn't like the level design.

A nice experience.

I was slightly annoyed by the game throwing you back to the level select after each song/level rather than just playing the next one.
