I am awful at this game - Which is why I love that it caters even to casuals like myself. I enjoy playing, watching others play and generally messing around with my unlucky 3 soon-to-be-colonisers who will probably perish to a maneating hamster.

Only issue I've ever identified is a naming problem with possibly the latest update, which is something minor and will no doubt be fixed soon.

Thanks for the good times and here is to many more.

I don't have that much play time, but its alright.

The last Call of Duty I had properly played was the original Modern Warfare 1 from 2007/2008. I had briefly touched others in between for campaign, but this has been my newest look. The below is mainly a multiplayer perspective.

Cons:
Servers still struggling to cope. This often leads to crashes. (No, it is not my PC specs.)
Unable to play properly with friends. The Social tab just doesn't work half the time. Steam friends list join game is temperamental and trying to play with friends cross platform makes this worse even if your friends find ways of inviting each other, leading often to my next moan.
Infinite stuck on 'Connecting' for most games in groups larger than 3.
Weapon balance is a mess - Sniper hit markers or 3 hits with an AR even at medium range and still not lethal, yet a marksman rifle or SMG at the same distances will send you to the afterlife with less bullets used. This is especially true if you're torturing yourself by using the m16. (Skill Issue memes appropriate for this section)
In the unfortunate event that your enemy is completing dominating you: The awful spawns on any game with respawns enabled, especially Crown Raceway or Santa Sena Border Crossing.

The Good:
The Campaign was short but good. Missions were enjoyable the transitions between characters, scenes and the next moment was flawless. Very well played.
Despite my feelings on weapon balance - The mix and match system for mods/accessories to create your own twist is inspired. It's a good idea in theory that I feel with a few tweaks could be great.

Not being a game designer or knowing how things are tested I am left wondering how some of these problems which had been identified by others well before me are still persisting and I certainly wish I didn't spend full price. I hope in time fixes are made.

I will revisit this in the future for a final verdict.
