One of the best, most thought provoking horror games I've ever played. I never thought I'd be mulling over tough existential questions while trying to avoid killer robots and other, much scarier things.

Many players will dive into this game expecting the definitive South Park experience, but you won't get it.

Pros:

-Fantastic voice acting
-Funny script
-Fun gameplay

Cons:

-The game is short.
-In terms of the sheer amount of material they could have drawn on from the show, you see only a fraction of it in the game.
-There is little replay value.
-The total game area is actually tiny.
-Surprisingly bad performance.
-Unlike other RPGs, there is very little variation in the story. At a couple points you get to make choices, but they have the same results and so are meaningless.

Overall it's an okay game, but chances are you'll play through it once or twice then drop it forever. Get it while it's on sale because it is most definitely NOT worth $40. For that much you're mostly paying for the brand name.

If you're going to play this game because it's in a Forgotten Realms setting, and you're expecting an experience akin to Baldur's Gate, Neverwinter Nights, or Icewind Dale, then you should watch some gameplay videos first.

Pros:

-The game looks good for an MMO. Models are well done.

Cons:

-Character classes are few and each offer a narrow slice of gameplay, with severe weapon restrictions that are entirely uncharacteristic of previous Forgotten Realms games. E.g the cleric cannot use melee weapons of any kind, and is exclusively a ranged caster with ranged attacks. Yeah.

-You only get a handful of spell/ability slots, and spells operate on a short cooldown rather than a daily limit (i.e like WoW, but worse).

-Combat is simplified and easy, making this game more of an action roleplaying game than a tactical one.

This game is basically what you would get if WoW and Dragon Age 2 had a kid then reskinned it as a Forgotten Realms mmo.

Pros
-Great concept.
-Looks fairly nice for the current stage of development.
-Will probably get much better over time.

Cons
-Currently buggy (in the gamebreaking sense).
-Not a whole lot to do in-game.

I'd recommend supporting this project, but know it will be a while before it's fully fleshed out. Read the discussion threads and watch some gameplay videos if you're unsure.
