This is the best looter shooter ever made, buried under horrible netcode. You will spend more time trying to connect to games than playing them.

If someone asked me to envision my ideal Indiana Jones game, I would have described this game pretty much as it is. Never in my wildest dreams did I expect someone to actually make it. Some minor control quirks aside, it's just about perfect. It is gorgeous, eloquent, deeply-layered, and above all a love letter to the source material.

This is one of my favorite games of all time. I didn't appreciate how good it really is until I went back and played Borderlands 1 for the sake of nostalgia, at which point I realized how spoiled I was by the sequel. The gunplay is smooth and satisfying. The classes and weapons are varied and fun. The writing is top notch. The quests are endless. The graphics are characteristically beautiful. The difficulty curve is pleasing. I could go on. If you never play this piece of gaming history, you've done yourself a disservice.

One word of warning: never use a save editor. It's tempting to play god and get everything you ever wanted, but it ruins the magic.
