A refreshing and reenergizing take on Roguelikes. It's kept me captivated for many hours by taking an incredibly solid core gameplay and wrapping it in a lush package, full of excellent writing, music, and visuals.

I've had Streamline since early alpha, and I'm still pretty excited whenever I see a party forming. It's a great way to relax for an evening- it's fun, lighthearted, and easy to get into. The poppy art style and kickin' music are easygoing and suit the game nicely. The character customization is especially fun- the sheer number of cosmetics ensures that you'll always get something new after a match.

The gameplay is fast paced and fun, easy to jump into but contains several nuances that make it competitive for those who want a deeper experience. Things like dodge rolling and knowing your lines can separate a good player from a great player.

I'm most excited about the new modes that Proletariat has been pushing out- Tag is an excellent addition to Streamline, and embraces the multiple ways to play and win a match. The extra maps that have been added are also super enjoyable- and super gorgeous.

Overall I think that Streamline is definitely worth your time! It's fun to hop into a game with a streamer you know, even if it's just for a few rounds of Tag. For free, that game is a gimme- and a good way to kill an evening with a dozen of your buddies.
