Finally I finished the game and unlocked all the achievements. I have never played any of the other God of War games in order to express my opinion but I consider this one a masterpiece. Hopefully someday they will release Ragnarok and the other earlier God of War games as an remastered bundle.

What I like about this game is that they gave some depth to the characters in the game instead having some generic hero that you have to play or bad guy that you have to face like in any other game.
Its also kinda interesting to see that during your quest the personal issues that they are struggling with that pushed some of them to the brink of insanity.
I find it funny that Sindri and Brok, who are both kinda considered a comic relief in the game arent spared from personal problems as well .

The combat system in the game is great as well and its so satisfying to hack and slash your way through the hordes of weak and huge steroid pumping monsters. You beat the tar out of them with just your fists, weapons or with the Rage Mode and if you like you can perform a finishing move to obliterate them. Keep in mind that in some point in the game you have to kill certain monster with a specific weapon because other weapons dont have any effect on them
The game itself is an open world also lets you decide whether you want to follow the story line or do some serious side questing for some rewards.

The things that really tilted my nipples in the game:
01. Battling the nine Valkyries. Some were really easy others were a huge frustration especially the Valkyrie Queen who didnt let me do one move. It felt like she was executing barrages of moves every minute that it seemed like it was impossible to beat her.
02. Sometimes my weapons get sheathed automatically during a battle and it got me killed some many times. This happens when Kratos gets hit with an powerful move.
03. Atreus whinging and whining about how he misses his mother or which way to go when im harvesting mists at Nifleheim. There times that i whished there was an ability for Kratos to grab NPC's and throw them around.

Overall I would recommend this game to anyone.

If there ever was a horror version of Alice in Wonderland, then this would be it. Every level in this game has an ominous vibe filled with horrendous regular and enemy characters. The story is really interesting with a huge plot twist at the end of the game.
On top of that you have some puzzles in the game that you have to solve to proceed to the next area. Some were really stupid easy and some puzzles literally broke my balls.

I would highly recommend playing this game with a controller instead of keyboard and mouse. When youre up against an enemy in a level you have press certain buttons to select an weapon but at the same time you have to dodge their attacks. Personally I find it much easier to do this with an controller than playing twister with my keyboard.

The only single thing that I didnt like in this game is the random change of camera angles that confuses the ♥♥♥♥ out of me. When im fighting enemies or when im jumping from one platform to another it randomly changes camera angles when I dont want it to change and this got me killed so many times.

played this game for four hours and i got really bored with it. The plot isnt interesting and the developers didnt bring anything interesting to the table. This game is kinda the same as TR and RotTR: Same scenery and same drama for Lara to brood on during the whole game.
I also feel like there is less action in the game and more cinematic cut scenes
Bottom line I would rather watch an ice cube melt for 6 hours or a hobo piss in a jar than to continue playing this game

Imagine having to wait for your turn to play Deathmatch on any game. How frustrating would that be. This Beta is discouraging new players who want to give this game a try by exactly doing that
For ♥♥♥♥♥ sake don't be cheap and just add more servers!

Honestly this is actually fun. The character's riged movement when he turns just needs some tweaking but other than that i really loved slashing through those big ass, steroid pumping enemy soldiers.

The only two criticisms i have for this game is that it was too short and the messy input option. I couldn't add keyboard keys for player 2 because it kept asking for an joystick key.

Overall I would recommend this game. hopefully in the future Sega will continue developing this game further..

Really fun game for like a few hours or so before you get bored with it. This game is suitable for playing with a friend or with a family member on a Friday or Saturday night.

The two things that I had trouble with was the controls and not be able to invite people from my Steam Friend List.
The controls isn't per se a huge issue because you could have a few lulz with playing with weird clunky controls and try to blast your friend or bots to the other side of the map.
I could only invite one friend to play this game through Steam's Remote Play Together option. It would have been nice if they added at the main menu an option where you could invite friends to play this game. Hopefully in the future they could maybe update this game and add an invite friend feature...or not.

This game has a few maps and game modes that you can choose from. The thing that i really like when playing this game is that you can bounce your rockets from objects and still hit your opponent. You could also destroy objects and houses on the map. I mean seriously who doesn't like doing that :P

Although I feel like this game was made in a month or less and had some issues, I still had some fun with it. Also I cant really complain much too since i got this game for free.
So get it now while its free on Steam (at the moment) and try it out for yourself.

To me this game is kinda like Double Dragon and the best way to play this game is with a friend.
trust me its much more fun that way and you'll survive longer.

Some enemies in this game are really annoying as hell like for instance there was a thug who was walking horizontally in a fast pace back and forth with a knife and as stupid as it sounds I couldn't hit him.
You can also pick up objects and kill enemies with it or replenish your health.
By the way it isn't a complete game, this is more like a one stage demo. Honestly i cant really complain because I got it for free anyway

This game was sitting in my library getting all dusty so i decided to play it. Everything went well with the intro flight part until I died at the first boss fight because im still warming up to get in the game. Okay no problem because usually for me its trial and error and ill just start from my last checkpoint, the boss fight, right?
WRONG!!! I had to do the flight scene at the very beginning of the game all over again and on top of that i couldnt skip any animations or dialogue.

So bottom line not gonna recommend this and i guess ill let this game sit in my library for another year or two.

I played this game on a Compaq Pressario 1525 desktop PC when i was back then a goofy snot nosed kid with chubby cheeks. I remember i never played this game without entering some cheat codes. I only cared for blowing aliens up to smithereens with every available weapons i could get from the codes.

Now i have it on Steam and i can say i really love this game a lot. You know what? I still enjoy blasting those invading aliens to oblivion. Of course without cheat codes this time.
I have to be honest i was kinda worried that the pixelated environment and the 2D enemies would make me dislike the game now but im glad it didnt. I think its because of the good memories i had with this game that it still holds up for me.

This game reminds me of the 80s/90s action flicks i used to see on TV. Instead of an actor, youre playing this egotistic muscleheaded action hero who solves everything with his guns and uses one liners. I think this why Duke Nukem is a like-able nonboring character.

The plot itself is simple as hell. There is no sophisticated plot twists or things to ponder about.
The whole game is about pure mindless action containing some minor nudity in it and the only thing you should ponder about in this game is whether you want to kill aliens with the Shrink Ray and then crush them with your boot or blow them to bits with the RPG.
Not only can you find a variety of interesting weapons in this game but you can also find some hidden easter eggs and references to classic movies and other familiar games.

The soundtrack to me is amazing. Theres nothing much to talk about other than that It fits well with the whole game.
I dont know if people who purchased this game experienced some errors or bugs but as far as i know i havent encountered any of them. I think the developers who optimized this game put some work in it to make this classic gem run consistently on modern systems

If you really like old school FPS games or you played this game when you were a kid but dont own it in your library then you should pick this one up. I definitely recommend it

Im going to start of by saying that this is really great game if you want to have fun with friends or with random players.
This review doesnt cover all the game modes but just the ones that are being played in my experience.

Usually when people play this game they go for the co-op campaign. You could also choose to play it with just your friends or if youre really a hardcore gamer you could play this on your own with some help from bots of course.
You dont have to buy any weaponry, granades, ammunition because everything is scattered in the map or available in these safehouses when you complete a part of the map. The thing is, you need to be very tactical on some occasions and economical with the useful items that you find in the map because some items like medkits or ammunition are not always easy to find.

The game punishes you if you just stand around at one spot for too long. Youll get either a horde of zombies running towards you or a special infected zombie like The Hunter or The Jockey that jumps on you .
Oh boy these special infected zombies are a huge pain in the ass and its impossible to kill them on your own when they catch you.
Just to be clear youll find these kind of zombies not only when you stand still for too long on one spot but also when you move around from one place to another or when you have to defend spots on the map

The thing that I personally dont like in this game mode or in any other game mode that you play is that you cant out run regular zombies or these special infected zombies. On one hand its challenging because youre being forced to work together but on the other hand it can be frustrating when your team falls apart and you have to deal with them on your own.

This game mode is basically the Campaign mode again but the difference is that you either play one of the survivors or an special infected zombie that tries to kill all the survivors.
I played this mode a few times and its really fun to play as an special infected zombie. You can stalk your friends and plan out your attacks.
What i didnt like about this mode was when you try to execute a move of a special infected zombie, it either doesnt respond or most of the time it simply misses its target. Sometimes its just luck that I hit my target.

I dont have much to add about this game mode. This is just staying on one spot and see how long your group could survive against waves of zombies and special infected zombies. This mode is also fun but in all honesty its also really hard because the items that helps you survive are very limited.
If you dislike moving from one place to another and prefer to fight at one location then this game mode is for you.

After i finished the campaign once and tried the other modes, i felt like I was kinda done with this game and i didnt get the urge to play it again. For me, this is a game that i could play once in the evening on a weekend with friends for a change if there isnt any other interesting game to play. Overall I still recommend getting it.
