Although I haven't played this game more than 100 hours yet, I have to say the 15 hours (at the time of this review was written) I spent in that game was a real joy which I didn't feel with many others.
I have been spending several hours at each session, going bed at very late and even while I sleep, I see my dreams related with the game. I am afraid it will be affecting my social life soon.

Mount & Blade Warband is an engaging RPG game. From the action aspect, the controls, sword fighting and horse riding styles are really original.

The RPG aspect of the game is SO powerful. As a usual adventurer, you start with almost nothing. You can earn some money to grab a small group of army, work in favor of a lord, become his friend, get some land, make a royal marriage and even become a king (from what I've heard in the game, I haven't achieved those things yet).
You can work like a trading caravan, buy and sell the stuff, loot the villages, capture prisoners, sell them to slavery...

And the war: It reminds me of playing Total War type of wars, but you actually exist in the battlefield. You can use your own strategy and command your troops accordingly to gain advantage even if you have army size disadvantage.

What else could it be?

This game has taken its place in my "Legendary Games I've played" list. I didn't play the other games in the series but I'll buy them later.
